[Player and Coach Comments]
FC Tokyo U-23 will have consecutive away matches.
This match is against Oita Trinita at Oita Prefectural 'Oita Bank Dome'.
Tokyo is surrounded by GK.
On the right of the defensive line is Komano, and on the left is Kijima. The center backs are the young duo of Yanagi and Okazaki.
In the midfield, Suzuki (Yoshi) is positioned as the anchor, with Sasaki and Yukino as inside halves.
The FW lineup features Hiraoka, Hayashi, and Uchida from the right in a 4-3-3 formation.
The captain's armband will be worn by Hayashi.
Maruyama will be included in the J3 League squad for the first time.
Oita uses a 4-4-2 double pivot system. The defense line features the experienced former Japan national team player Yamagishi as the right side back. In the center, Daniel is positioned.
The match, watched by 6,232 supporters, began with Oita's kickoff.
[First Half]
Oita dominated possession of the ball.
Tokyo will maintain a compact formation centered around Yanagi and Okazaki to respond to Oita's attacks.
In the first 3 minutes, a long ball is played to the left center behind. Yanagi covers it well and blocks it, resulting in a left corner kick.
This corner kick was also cleared by Yanagi, preventing a goal.
In the 12th minute, we lost the ball in the opponent's territory and faced a counterattack.
Facing a critical moment with a score of 2 to 2, Yanagi and Okazaki responded well, and in the end, Okazaki blocked the opposing forward who broke through with a sliding tackle after a through pass.
Okazaki shows determination.
After that, both teams tried to create chances from both sides, but they solidified their defenses in front of the goal and no goals were scored.
In the 21st minute, Tokyo spread the ball from the left side to the right side, and Hiraoka received the ball around the edge of the penalty area.
Kohno runs along the sideline to provide support, but Hiraoka chooses a low early cross.
Sent to Hayashi on the near side, but it doesn't connect.
At the 30-minute mark, when the player receives the ball on the left side outside, Uchida circles around from the outside.
The fabric uses this as a decoy to pass diagonally to Hayashi in the middle.
Hayashi received the ball inside the penalty area and quickly passed it back to Suzuki (Yoshi) in the center, aiming for a long shot, but it went wide of the goal.
It seemed like the opening goal in the 36th minute.
Kiji received the ball on the left side, cut inside, and made a cut-in.
With a soft cross from the right foot to the far side, Hiraoka jumped in and shook the net, but it was ruled offside.
In the latter part of the first half, we were pushed back, but the team remained calm. With Hayashi at the front, everyone fell back to withstand Oita's attack, ending the half at 0-0.
Despite the few chances, the defense stood out by bravely blocking Oita's attacks.

Coach Anma's Comments
"On defense, we need to be patient and maintain our current shape, continuing to win second balls. In attack, instead of playing the ball back, let's connect it forward. Let's be aggressive in the attacking third."
[Second Half]
Tokyo substitutes Maruyama for Uchida.
Changed the DF line to Komano, Okazaki, Maruyama, and Yanagi from the right.
Place the fabric in Uchida's position and prepare for the second half.
Oita made no substitutions, and the second half began with Tokyo's kickoff.
Tokyo was the first to approach the goal.
In the 48th minute, he picked up an opponent's pass mistake in the central midfield and launched a short counterattack.
In a situation of numerical superiority of 6 to 4, when Kiji keeps the ball around the left corner of the penalty area, Yukino goes around outside.
The fabric connects with the heel, and Yukino sends in a cross, but it is cleared by the defense.
Then, gradually, the flow shifts towards Oita, allowing breakthroughs from the right side and starting to be pushed back.
In the 56th minute, a free kick was given to the opponent on the right side of the midfield, allowing a header in the center that shook the net, but it was ruled offside.
However, in the 60th minute, Oita's right corner kick is crossed back into the box after being free on the far side outside the penalty area.
Although this was headed in the center, the goalkeeper made a good save and deflected it, but the loose ball was pushed in, allowing the first goal.
Furthermore, in the 74th minute, a free player jumped in from the left corner kick and scored an additional goal.
In the 75th minute, they created a numerical disadvantage in the center, and in the end, a goal was scored diagonally from about 45 degrees to the left, making it 0-3.
Tokyo, dominated by Oita, saw Matsumoto and Hiraoka, who came on for Hayashi in the 70th minute, start pressing from the front.
Tokyo switched to a 4-4-2 formation after Matsuoka was brought on. The forward line consists of Matsuoka and Hiraoka, while the midfield is made up of Sasaki, Suzuki, Yukino, and Ikiji from the right.
In the 80th minute, Yanagi received the ball on the left side, dribbled past an opponent in a one-on-one situation, and entered the penalty area.
A grounded cross is delivered, but it doesn't connect with the center.
In the 87th minute, the ball is passed from defender Maruyama to Komano, who takes it deep into the right side.
Kono crosses directly to the far side, but the header goes well over the goal.
In the 89th minute, Komano received the ball on the right side of the opponent's midfield, passing it to Sasaki who was waiting in the gap of the defense.
Sasaki turned around and aimed for a long shot, but it went over the goal.
In added time, Yanagi broke through on the left side and connected with Hiraoka, who was free in front of the goal, but the shot went over the bar and the match ended.
Lost by 0-3.

We appreciate your continued warm support.
【Summary of Coach Anma's Press Conference】
"I would like to sincerely thank the fans and supporters who came all the way to Oita and cheered for us. In order to respond to that support, I will continue to work hard every day, reflect on the areas where we fell short today on the field, and strive to challenge the next match."
In the match, Oita was stronger, and we still lacked the necessary strength. I believe that is everything.
【Player Comment】
《Yanagi》
"It was my first time playing as a center back after joining the top team, so there were many things I didn't understand, and I decided to enter the game cautiously. (In the first half, how was the triangle relationship with Makoto OKAZAKI and Suzuki in the center?) Makoto OKAZAKI covered for me a lot. I was often caught behind, and he helped me by covering that well. Suzuki also pressed the ball up front. (You have mostly played as a right side back until now; was there anything useful from that experience?) Playing on the right side helped me understand the mindset of a center back and the kind of play I wanted, so when I return to right side back, I want to be more aware of positioning and use that to grow. (About the consecutive goals conceded?) While defending continuously, after conceding one goal, the whole team pushed forward too much. Our style of play collapsed. I think if we had kept playing our football without changing even after conceding, the result might have been different. (In the second half, you attacked from the left side; did you change your approach?) Left side back is also a position I don't have much experience in, but I focused on taking on opponents when I had the ball. I wish I had created more scoring chances. (For the next match) I want to grow with every game and contribute to the team."
