[Player/Coach Comments]
FC Tokyo U-23 will play consecutive away games.
This week's match will be against Oita Trinita at Oita Bank Dome in Oita Prefecture.
Tokyo is surrounded by GK.
The DF line consists of Komano on the right and Namiji on the left. The two young players, Yanagi and Okazaki, form a partnership in the center back position.
In the midfield, Suzuki (Yoshi) is positioned as an anchor, with Sasaki and Yukino as inside halves.
FW adopts a 4-3-3 formation with Hirayama, Hayashi, and Uchida lined up from the right.
The captain's armband is worn by Hayashi.
Maruyama will make his first appearance in the J3 League as a substitute.
Oita plays a 4-4-2 double pivot system. On the DF line, experienced former Japan national team member Yamagishi plays as a right back. In the middle, Daniel is positioned.
The match, watched by 6,232 supporters, began with a kickoff in Oita.
【First Half】
Oita dominated the ball.
Tokyo keeps the whole team compact, centered around Yanagi and Okazaki, to respond to Oita's attacks.
In the first 3 minutes, a long ball is played behind the center left, which Yagi covers well and blocks, resulting in a left corner kick.
Yanagi also repels this corner kick and does not allow a goal.
Receive a counterattack after losing the ball in the opponent's territory at the 12th minute.
Facing a pinch with a 2-2 tie, Yanagi and Okazaki responded firmly and in the end, Okazaki blocked the opposing FW who broke through with a through pass with a sliding tackle.
Okazaki shows his determination.
Afterwards, both teams try to create chances from both sides, but they are unable to score due to a strong defense in front of the goal.
21 minutes, Tokyo expands the ball from the left side to the right side, and Hirayama receives the ball around the outside corner of the PA.
Komano runs up the line and supports, but Hirayama chooses a low early cross.
Did not match with Hayashi on the near side.
When the ball is received on the left side outside at 30 minutes, Uchida goes around the outside.
Pass this diagonally through the forest being used as bait.
Hayashi received the ball inside the penalty area and quickly passed it back to Suzuki (Yoshi) in the center, but his long shot missed the target.
The scene at 36 minutes seemed to be the first point.
The fabric that received the ball on the left side switches to the inside and cuts in.
Hiraoka jumped in and shook the net with a soft cross from his right foot, but it was ruled offside.
In the latter half of the first half, the game was dominated by the opposing team, but the defense calmly responded. Leaving Lin on the front line, everyone pulled back and withstood Oita's attacks, ending the first half with a 0-0 score.
Although there were few opportunities, the defense stood out in scenes where they bravely defended against Oita's attacks.

Coach Yasuma's Comment
"We need to be patient with our defense and continue with our current formation. We also need to keep picking up second balls. In our attack, instead of dropping the ball back, we need to connect it forward. Let's be aggressive in the attacking third."
【Second Half】
Tokyo substitutes Maruyama for Uchida.
Changed the DF line to Komano, Okazaki, Maruyama, and Yanagi from the right.
Place the fabric in Uchida's position and prepare for the second half.
Oita did not make any player substitutions and the second half began with Tokyo's kickoff.
Tokyo was the first to threaten the goal.
48 minutes, pick up the opponent's pass miss in the center of the midfield, and launch a short counterattack.
In a numerical advantage situation of 6 to 4, Yukino goes around the outside after keeping the ball in the left PA inner corner.
The ball is connected by the heel and Yukino crosses it, but it is cleared by the DF.
As a result, the flow gradually shifts to Oita, allowing them to push forward from the right side.
56 minutes, gave FK to the opponent on the right side of the midfield, allowed a header in the center and shook the net, but it was judged offside.
However, at the 60th minute, Oita's right corner kick was passed to the far side penalty area where it was crossed back inside while being unmarked.
The ball was headed in the center, but the goalkeeper made a great save and deflected it, however, the rebound was pushed in and we conceded the first goal.
In addition, in the 74th minute, they were scored an additional point by being jumped into the center from the left CK.
In the 75th minute, they were put at a numerical disadvantage in the center and ultimately conceded a goal from around the left diagonal 45 degrees, resulting in a 0-3 score.
Tokyo, who had been dominated by Oita, started to press from the front line with Matsuo and Hiraoka coming on as substitutes in the 70th minute.
Tokyo changed to a 4-4-2 formation after bringing in Sho Matsuoka. The front line consists of Matsuoka and Hiraoka, while the midfield is made up of Sasaki, Suzuki, Yukino, and Namichi from the right.
80 minutes, Yagi, who received the ball on the left side, dribbled past the opponent and entered the PA.
Unable to match the cross from Grandaer.
Connect to Komano, who took a big right side back from Maruyama on the DF line at 87 minutes.
Komano crosses it directly to the far side, but the header goes wide of the goal.
In the 89th minute, Komano receives the ball on the right side of the opponent's midfield, and passes it to Sasaki who is waiting for the ball in the gap of the defense.
Sasaki attempts a long shot as soon as he receives it, but it goes over the frame.
In additional time, Yanagi, who broke through the left side, became free in the center of the goal, but his shot missed above the frame and the game ended.
Lost 0-3.
Thank you very much for your passionate support for FC Tokyo U-23 today.
Thank you for your continued warm support.
[Summary of Manager Yasuma's Press Conference]
"I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the fans and supporters who came all the way to Oita and cheered for us. We will continue to work hard every day to respond to your support and reflect on the areas where we fell short today on the field, and we will strive for the next game."
The match was dominated by Oita and our own strength was still lacking. I think that's all there is to it."
【Player Comments】
《Yanagi》
"It was my first time playing as a center back since joining the top team, so there were some things I didn't understand, and I decided to be cautious in the game. (In the first half, what was the triangle relationship with Okazaki and Suzuki like in the center?) Okazaki covered me a lot. I was often beaten behind, but he covered me well and helped me out. Suzuki also did a good job of pressing up front. (Have you learned anything from playing mostly as a right back before?) Playing on the right side, I was able to understand the mindset of a center back and there were plays that I wanted to do, so when I went back to playing as a right back, I was conscious of my positioning and want to continue to grow. (About the consecutive goals against?) Throughout the game, we had been defending well, but after conceding one goal, we became too aggressive as a team. Our style of play fell apart. If we had continued to play our own game even after conceding, we might have had a different result. (In the second half, you attacked from the left side. Did you change your mindset?) I don't have much experience playing as a left back, but I was conscious of making plays when I had the ball, but I wish we could have created more scoring opportunities. (Looking ahead to the next match) I want to continue to grow and contribute to the team in every game."
