[Player/Coach Comments]
Sec. 10 held at Yumenoshima Stadium in Koto Ward, which was the first time since Sec. 5 held on April 17th (Sun).
FC Tokyo U-23, who have lost consecutive away games, want to turn the tide at home.
Tokyo's starting eleven has GK surrounded.
The DF line has Ogawa, who will make his first appearance and first start in the J3 League for FC Tokyo U-23 on the left, and a right side made up of fabric.
And, in the center back position, Okazaki and newly registered Hasukawa, with an average age of 17.7 years (as of 5/23), will make their first appearance and first start, facing Kagoshima with a young DF line.
In the midfield, as in the previous match, Suzuki will play as an anchor, with captain's armband on the inside half, Yuki and Sho SASAKI.
The front line consists of Muriqui, Insoo YU, and Nathan BURNS, who made his first appearance and first start in the J3 League, lining up in a 4-3-3 formation.
Kagoshima, on the other hand, will be participating in the J3 League starting this season. The team, led by coach Tetsuya ASANO, who was also with FC Tokyo, is currently in 4th place and known for their strong defense and sharp counterattacks in their second year under his leadership.
Tokyo aims to gain points from top teams.
[First Half]
Kagoshima was actively involved in the game.
Although a cross was allowed from the left side just after the start, the keeper caught it.
Both teams form a compact formation when defending and build blocks in their own half.
Kagoshima will look for opportunities through connecting passes, while Tokyo will use long and medium distance passes to change the situation and create chances through counterattacks.
The first chance came at 20 minutes, when Muriqui, who had the ball in his own half, passed a middle pass to Barnes running on the right side.
Barnes passes it vertically to Insoo YU who is positioned in the center.
Insoo YU attempts a simple drop to Sasaki and takes a middle shot, but it is blocked by the opposing defense.
The defense also does not lose concentration.
23 minutes, Okazaki blocks the middle shot with a sliding tackle after giving a moment of space outside the PA in front of the goal.
The loose ball is picked up again, and although the left side is allowed to break through diagonally, the defense catches it firmly in front.
Tokyo, who created another chance at the counter, received the ball at the center of their own half and passed a long pass to Barnes, who was running on the right side, when Sasaki turned forward.
Barnes dribbles up and shoots from a difficult angle inside the PA, but the opposing GK makes the save.
Ogawa sends the left CK he gained to Sasaki around the center PA line, and Sasaki aims for a direct right-footed jumping volley, but the GK is in front.
A chance came to Kagoshima in the 33rd minute, allowing a vertical pass in their own territory, and two direct passes broke through the center and entered the PA area.
This decisive shot was saved by the quick reaction of the goalkeeper, preventing a goal.
Barnes and Muriqui continue to push forward with their vertical momentum, as the time of endurance continues, approaching the goal.
41 minutes, Insoo YU on the left side receives Okazaki's long pass and collects the ball with his body.
When Muriki enters the support and picks up the ball, he dribbles through the left side and enters the PA.
Barnes narrowly misses the cross from Grander.
In addition, at 43 minutes, Muriki cuts off the opponent's pass in the center of his own field and counters.
When Muriki rises to the center, he passes a middle through pass to Barnes running on the right side.
Barnes tries to shoot while competing with the opponent, but it is blocked.
Muriqui also fought hard in defense and encouraged the team just before the end of the first half.
The opponent is able to dribble deep on the left side of our own field, but Muriki comes back and uses his body to prevent the opponent's advance.
The crowd applauds this play.
Everyone pushes their feelings to the forefront and the score remains 0-0 at halftime.
【Halftime】
Coach Yasuma
"In defense, we need to stop the opponent's speed. In attack, we need to make quick decisions and increase the tempo. We will definitely win!"
【Second half】
Tokyo switches to Yamada, who will make his first appearance since Sec. 4, from Hasegawa. He will form a partnership with Okazaki.
Kagoshima will not make any player substitutions and the second half will begin with Tokyo's kickoff.
Both teams continue to attack mainly with counters and short counters in the second half.
47 minutes, receiving the opponent's counter, DF line is passed behind and the player jumps out and catches the ball while making contact with the opponent player.
The defense once crouched down, but stood up again and continued playing. Throughout the day, the defense consistently prevented the opponent's attacks with stable catching.
Tokyo also launches short counters from Muriqui's aggressive press.
55 minutes, Muriqui picks up the ball twice from deep on the left side after chasing it down in the opponent's half.
In addition, at the 59th minute, Muriqui pressed from the front line and stole the ball.
Ogawa breaks through the left side and earns a left corner kick. However, if this corner kick is cleared, they will be vulnerable to a counter attack.
The left side is vertically penetrated, and although facing a 1-3 pinch, the defense works hard and does not allow a goal.
And the biggest chance of the day came in the 63rd minute.
When getting a FK in the opponent's central area, Ogawa's shot is blocked by the wall.

Suruto, setto puree kara pinchi wo mukaete shimau.
66 minutes, a free kick from the right side of the midfield is headed in the center but goes over the frame.
In the 71st minute, when a left corner kick was given, the ball went to the center of the PA outside instead of in front of the goal. The opposing player was able to jump in and take a shot, but it was blocked by the defense.
Tokyo substitutes Hirao for Insoo YU. Placed on the right side, forming a two-top with Muriqui and Barnes.
Changed to a double volante of Suzuki and Kono, and Sasaki to the left side of 4-4-2.
However, the flow remained unchanged and in the 81st minute, they were caught on a short counterattack after losing the ball in their own half.
Caught by the keeper after a shot from a cut-in when it was expanded from the center to the left side.
As we continue to endure, in the additional time of 90+1 minutes, Sasaki breaks through vertically on the left side and runs forward to Barnes.
Barnes tried to shoot while competing with the opposing DF, but couldn't hit the frame as he entered the PA.
The game ended as it was, with a scoreless draw of 0-0.
Thank you very much for your passionate support for FC Tokyo U-23 today.
Thank you for your continued warm support.
[Coach Yasuma's Press Conference Summary]
"Above all, I am grateful to all the fans and supporters who came to this game and gave us their support."
The match was really good, with a strong counter from Kagoshima, who is currently in 4th place. It was great to see Suzuki, who is in his teens, playing as part of the DF line of 4 and the anchor, fighting with great patience and delicacy.
During halftime, there was a very active communication between Muriqui, Burns, and Ikiji, and it was a great sight to see regardless of age. I think it was great that each of them were able to assert themselves as they continued to interact with each other.
However, I believe that what professional sports definitely gives is emotions, so I hope that the fans and supporters who came today will have good emotions and be able to take them home with them. We will continue to work harder and harder to achieve the best emotions.
【Player Comments】
《Ogawa》
"I think it was good that we were able to finish the game without conceding any goals as a team. However, there were many dangerous situations in defense and although we were able to create decisive chances in attack, the fact that we couldn't score any goals is a remaining issue."
Personally, I think our defense was fairly stable, but in terms of attack, we need to be more aggressive and improve our crossing accuracy. Today, it was really bad. So, I want to create more decisive chances and play the game more solidly.
(The DF line was made up of young members?) As the oldest member of the DF line, I was the only one who had experience with the DF line in J1, so I tried to convey the speed of the DF line by using my voice.
(What is your enthusiasm for the next game?) I always give my all in both J1 and J3, so I want to play a game that will move the fans and supporters.
