[Player and Coach Comments]
In the previous round, Tokyo secured their second victory and aims for consecutive wins as they host Fujieda MYFC at home.
The goalmouth of Tokyo will feature Ue.
The DF line consists of Yanagi, Yoshimoto, Okazaki, and Ogawa. At the bottom of the midfield are Nozawa and Suzuki (Yoshi), with the FC Tokyo U-18 duo of Kijima and Uchida taking on the wings.
The front line is composed of Hiraoka and Insoo YU in a classic 4-4-2 formation.
Nakajima, who has returned from injury, is on the bench. Also, Muroya, who has made his first appearance in an FC Tokyo official match, is waiting for his chance to play.
Fujieda also set up in a 4-4-2 formation, featuring the experienced attacker Endo and the agile Edamoto.
And in the DF line, the side back Hisatomi, who also has scoring ability, starts in the lineup, and the team is characterized by short counters from high pressing.
The match started with a kickoff from Fujieda.
[First Half]
Both teams showed an aggressive start and approached the goal from set plays.
The first chance goes to Fujieda. In the 4th minute, a right corner kick is awarded to Fujieda, and although the defense initially clears it, they are unable to clear it completely, leaving the ball inside the penalty area.
Fujieda aims for this directly, but it goes over the goal.
In Tokyo, after 6 minutes, Ogawa sent the ball to the far side from a left corner kick, Yoshimoto returned it, and Yanagi reacted but shot over the goal.
Then, in the 10th minute, Suzuki (Yoshi) passed to Hiraoka on the right side of the midfield, who let it go to the advancing Kiji.
When the fabric includes a grander cross, the Fujieda defense fails to clear it at the near post, and the ball spills into the center.
Insoo YU heads the ball in to score the opening goal. This is his third goal of the season.
With this momentum, Tokyo aggressively pressed from the front line and made proactive plays from both the left and right sides.
After the match, Fujieda's coach Oishi said, "I didn't expect Tokyo to use long balls this much, and we were pushed back." They launched an attack utilizing the speed of forwards Hiraoka and Insoo YU to take control of the game.
In the 21st minute, Nozawa steals the ball in midfield, and Insoo YU picks up the ball and passes it to Hiraoka.
Hiraoka dribbles up the center, but the ball is touched by a DF chasing from behind, causing him to miss the opportunity.
Furthermore, in the 26th minute, Yanagi faced a one-on-one on the right side and forcefully broke through. He delivered a cross in front of the goal, but the opposing defender cleared it.
Suzuki (Yoshi) takes a direct shot from the center outside the penalty area, but it goes high over the goal.
In the 28th minute, they were pressured by Fujieda for a goal; after losing a pass in front of their own penalty area, Okazaki blocked a shot in a one-on-one situation.
The loose ball was picked up by Fujieda, and although they sent in a cross, Yanagi cleared it.
Furthermore, a right corner kick allowed a header shot, but the goalkeeper caught it with a dive.
The defense will not lose focus.
Tokyo continues to apply pressure and approaches the goal in the final stages.
In the 41st minute, Ogawa steals the ball in the center of his own half, skillfully faking out two opponents and dribbling forward.
With Hiraoka on the right and Insoo YU on the left, as the situation becomes 3 against 3, Ogawa makes a through pass to Insoo YU in front of the penalty area.
Insoo YU faces the GK one-on-one but is met with a great save from the opposing GK.
In addition, during stoppage time, Uchida stole the ball on the left side of the midfield and made a through pass with the outside of his right foot to Insoo YU, who made a run behind the defense.
The opposing GK who came out to challenge this stopped it with a foul outside the penalty area.
Ogawa takes this free kick and aims for Insoo YU at the near post, but the header just goes slightly wide of the target.
After taking the lead, there were chances to score additional goals, but they couldn't secure any more points and went into halftime with a one-point lead.

Coach Anma's Comments
"Continue to target the opponent's back. Defense should keep picking up second balls and continue to take the initiative."
We will boldly attack, boldly take back, and continue to pressure the opponent to the point of frustration.
【Second Half】
Both teams will enter the second half without making any substitutions.
From the start, there are many fouls in the battle for midfield control. Furthermore, both teams apply aggressive pressure from the front line.
In Tokyo, Hiraoka applies continuous pressure in the opponent's penalty area for 54 minutes and steals the ball.
He connected this to the fabric and approached the goal, but the DF blocked it. The crowd applauded Hiraoka for his aggressive play.
In the 58th minute, Insoo YU applies pressure on the opponent's defensive line. Hiraoka picks it up, dribbles forward, and passes it back to Insoo YU.
Insoo YU's shot is blocked by the opponent.
Tokyo had been on the offensive, but in the 60th minute, they were dribbled past on the right side, allowing an entry into the box, and Yanagi fouled inside the penalty area, resulting in a goal from the penalty kick.
Immediately after this, Nakajima was brought in to replace Uchida, and Nakajima quickly approached the goal.
In the 64th minute, Nakajima steals the ball in the center right side of the opponent's half and initiates a dribble himself.
In a one-on-one with the opposing defender, he evades to the right and takes a no-spin shot, but it's right at the goalkeeper.
In the 65th minute, Nakajima was fouled slightly to the left of the center outside the opponent's penalty area.
He took the free kick himself, softly lifting it over the wall, but the opposing GK made a great save.
In the 67th minute, Insoo YU broke through on the left side and received a negative pass outside the penalty area, but the middle shot was saved by the goalkeeper.
In the 70th minute, Sei MUROYA came on for Hiraoka.
Making his official debut for FC Tokyo, he plays as a right back. Yanagi moves to the left side, while Ogawa plays as a right midfielder. Kiji is on the left side.
Accelerate the attack by placing Nakajima and Insoo YU in the front line.
In the 75th minute, the opposing GK holds the ball in front of the penalty area, and Hiraoka applies pressure.
The GK slips, and while competing with Hiraoka, the ball spills out. Nozawa attempts a loop shot, but it goes wide of the target.
Tokyo, increasing their offensive pressure, in the 82nd minute, Insoo YU quickly restarted the play on the right side of midfield, passing to Nakajima who broke through to the center.
Nakajima was fouled just outside the penalty area and won a free kick. Nakajima and Ogawa lined up as kickers, but Ogawa's shot went through the wall and straight to the goalkeeper.
When the GK fumbles this, Muroya closes in, but the GK responds quickly.
Furthermore, in the 83rd minute, Suzuki (Iku), who made his debut in the J-League at the same time as Muroya, came on as a substitute for Insoo YU.
Aiming for the goal, but conversely, in the 88th minute, we allowed a breakthrough from the left side, and Yoshimoto threw his body to block the shot.
Furthermore, although a loose ball was shot, the defense threw their bodies to narrow the shooting angle and sent it outside the goal.
In added time, both teams created chances to score, but the match ended in a 1-1 draw, resulting in each team sharing one point.
Thank you very much for your passionate support for FC Tokyo U-23.
We appreciate your continued warm support.
【Summary of Coach Anma's Press Conference】
"I truly appreciate the fans and supporters who rushed to the stands in this heat.
I was really glad to see the players show such courage as they boldly challenged the opponent's final line as usual.
However, there were several moments in the first half where we could have decided the match, and I believe we need to pursue those situations in our daily practice. Instead of avoiding those moments during the match, I hope we can continue to repeat them and try to overcome that barrier.
I believe that by doing so, we can turn the game into one that ends in victory, so I hope you will try without fearing change.
And above all, I hope that Shoya NAKAJIMA and Sei MUROYA can return from their long-term injuries, and that their efforts will be rewarded in the future.
【Player Comments】
《Muroya》
"In the first half, I watched from the bench, and everyone was fighting hard and showing great effort. We managed to score the opening goal from a good flow, and I thought things were going well, but then we conceded a penalty in the second half. The result of 1-1 was a draw, but overall, I think everyone fought really hard, and it was a valuable draw that can lead to something better."
(How do you feel about your own performance?) It had been four months since I last played in a match, so my body felt extremely heavy and didn't respond well. There were still many issues that arose, but for me, it was a significant step forward, and I want to build on this one step at a time.
(When I came on as a substitute, I received a very loud cheer) I was really encouraged by the voices, and I was truly happy to hear the support. It brought tears to my eyes. For the fans and supporters who cheer for us so much, I felt that both as an individual and as a team, we need to strive to reach even higher.
(I think the rehabilitation period was long and tough) It was a painful four months where even just watching the matches was somewhat difficult, but I want to continue to make sure that these challenging four months have meaning.
(For the next match) I hope to showcase higher quality play for a longer duration, so I appreciate your enthusiastic support.
