[Player/Coach Comments]
The 19th round of the 2016 Meiji Yasuda Life J3 League, which will be a home game, welcomed Gainare Tottori to Ajinomoto Field Nishigaoka.
With the change of TOP team's coach, Coach Yasuma became a full-time coach for the TOP team, and Tadashi NAKAMURA, coach of FC Tokyo U-18, took over as the new coach.
The starting eleven for Tokyo is GK Enomoto.
The DF line consists of Hirayama, Yamada, Okazaki, and Sasaki from the right.
Nawaz will take the anchor position, with Hayashi and Insoo YU playing as inside halves.
In the front line, Suzuki (Iku), Yajima, and Matsuoka line up in a 4-3-3 formation.
Hantani, who made his first appearance in an official match for FC Tokyo, prepares on the bench.
Tottori will line up in a 4-4-2 formation, just like in the previous match.
Maeda, who was also a member of FC Tokyo, joined the front line, making the team's hard work a characteristic of the entire team.
Bench includes FERNANJINHO and BALCHI JUNIOR, who made his first appearance in the team.
The rain fell before the match, but it stopped by kick-off and the game started in slightly humid conditions at Tottori.
【First Half】
Both teams are pressing towards the goal right after the start.
52 seconds, Hirayama crosses from the right side and Tottori defense clears it.
Lin picks up this ball outside the PA and shoots a driven shot towards the goal from a half-bounce, but it is saved by the GK.
Tottori also breaks through the center immediately and approaches the goal, but Enomoto blocks it.
Both teams are forming compact formations and building up, making it difficult to bring the ball to the opponent's goal due to the blocks created in their own half.
As time goes by, Tottori gains more control of the ball and Tokyo looks for chances on the counterattack.
Among them, Tokyo is quick to switch after losing the ball, not giving Tottori any freedom.
Despite taking a water break, the stalemate remains unchanged as both teams are unable to score despite advancing the ball towards the penalty area. Shots are missed at the last moment and passes are slightly off target.
Tokyo, who still wants to break the deadlock, passes the ball to Yajima and multiple players try to break through the Tottori defense, but they cannot break through.
Tokyo, who created a chance in the final stage, at 42 minutes.
When getting a free kick on the left side, Insoo YU quickly restarted to Sasaki who ran along the sideline in the center left.
Matsoka moves vertically here and sends a cross to the center for Grander, but it is blocked by the Tottori defense.
Sasaki picks up this loose ball and shoots a middle shot in front of the opposing DF, but misses the target to the right.
In the additional time of 45+1 minutes, a long pass from the right side reaches Sasaki, who has entered deeply on the left side.
When this is returned to Insoo YU and connected to Suzuki (Iku) in the center of the PA, the opponent is momentarily shaken off and a shot is taken with the left foot, but it goes outside the frame.
The first half ended with Tokyo having 5 shots and Tottori having 3 shots.
【Halftime】
Manager Nakamura's Comment
"Everyone is able to play aggressively, so let's continue."
Raise the position to steal the ball and use the sides effectively.
【Second Half】
Both teams continue to play aggressively from the start of the second half without making any substitutions.
Shortly after kickoff, Insoo YU broke through the center with speed on his own.
If this is stopped by a foul, Sasaki will directly aim for the FK but it will be outside the frame.
Tottori also came close to scoring in the 47th minute when they broke through the left side, but Enomoto came out to the edge of the penalty area and made a one-on-one save with his foot against the opponent.
Protect the goal.
The game started to accelerate and the battle in front of the goal increased after about 5 minutes into the second half.
Tokyo takes 55 minutes, and when Insoo YU in the center of the midfield expands greatly to the right side, Hirayama makes a move and earns a right corner kick.
In the 57th minute, Hirayama, who opened up on the right side, put in an early cross, but it didn't connect with his teammate.
In defense, in the 58th minute, Okazaki covered the right side with a sliding tackle. Don't lose concentration.
Then an accident happens to Tokyo.
62 minutes, Yamada was substituted after his leg cramped during a scramble in front of the goal.
When Hanaya is inserted, Nozawa and Okazaki will be CB. Lin will be placed as an anchor and Insoo YU and Hanaya will be inside half.
When switching to a Brazilian player as the two top players, Tottori also allows them to score.
65 minutes, Tottori right side throw-in leads to a breakthrough by the two top players and they enter the penalty area.
Allowing the first goal from around 45 degrees to the right and into the far side.
After that, the development within the Tokyo team continued, and time passed without being able to push back.
Still, gradually taking control, they begin to attack the Tottori defense.
73 minutes, Matsushita steals the ball in their own territory and launches a counter attack, running up the center and ultimately committing a foul.
Insoo YU fiercely attacks the FK in front of the goal with a powerful shot, but is blocked by the GK's excellent defense.
Tokyo, who is increasing their offensive, had a chance in the 80th minute when Sho Sasaki cut in from the left side and took a shot, but it hit the post.
Suzuki (Iku) picks up this loose ball and crosses it from the right side of the PA to the far side, but the Tottori defense throws their bodies in the way and misses the chance.
In the 81st minute, Yajima shoots from the center, but Tottori GK makes a good save.
Tokyo accelerates its momentum by putting Uchida and Ikiji in, and in the 82nd minute, Uchida breaks through the right side and puts a sharp cross in the center.
Hantani jumps in freely here, but his header doesn't shake the net.
Despite continuously approaching the goal without giving up until the end, they were unable to break through the Tottori defense and the game ended like this.
Lost 0-1 and suffered consecutive losses
Thank you very much for your passionate support for FC Tokyo U-23.
Thank you for your continued warm support.
【Summary and Comments from Manager Nakamura's Press Conference】
"First of all, I really wanted to win and make sure we won."
Because all players have the consciousness of connecting the ball that the player promised first to the goal.
Without anyone walking to the goal, without anyone slacking off, without hiding, the players showed a true attitude of taking care of the ball and heading towards the goal, in response to the promise of receiving the ball and carrying it to the goal.
In that sense, I was very disappointed that I couldn't win, and I think the players were also very disappointed.
(Were there any players in unfamiliar positions?) We organized the positions so that each player's strengths can be utilized, even in unfamiliar positions.
I think I was able to play the game without feeling much discomfort.
(The number of times we approached the second half goal has increased, but) by moving the ball, we thought the opponent would also get tired in this heat, and our strength is being able to move the ball.
However, in the second half, we also talked about not just moving the ball, but also aiming for the goal.
(I think I made you feel frustrated by not being able to win today, despite the enthusiasm for the next match.) Today, it was really hot, but thank you for coming.
The next match is an away game, but we will do our best to achieve both a good result and performance.
【Player Comments】
《Hanya》
"I was able to join the team for the first time today. Watching from the outside, I don't think our approach to the game was bad. While doing that, I was imagining how I would enter the game when I came on as a substitute."
I think I was able to enter the game with a good impression when I actually played from the middle. Although it was a different position from usual, I think I was able to make some plays around my strengths, such as in the PA area.
(Although I think I was involved in scoring opportunities even though I came on as a substitute and played in an unfamiliar position) In situations like heading from a cross, I always try to prepare without stopping my feet since I was playing in U-18. It was a situation where I could take off my mark and just finish it, so I'm very disappointed.
(It was my J-League debut at FC Tokyo,) Honestly, I was a little nervous, but as I played, I got used to it and was able to show my strengths. Personally, I think it was a good debut match.
(The enthusiasm for the next match is) If there is a chance to join the members in the next match, I want to show my strengths and score a goal next time. "
