[Player and Coach Comments]

Fighting for a third consecutive home victory in the 2016 Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company J3 League Sec. 27.

The team welcoming to AJINOMOTO FIELD NISHIGAOKA is SC Sagamihara, who lost 0-1 in the opening match.
Tokyo wants to show its growth from the opening match to now.
The DF line consists of right SB Yanagi, with Okazaki and Koyama in the center, and Ogawa on the left.
Double defensive midfielders Nozawa and Suzuki. Insoo YU positioned at the forefront, in a formation close to two strikers. Hiraoka on the right and Kiji on the left.
Additionally, FC Tokyo U-18's Hirakawa has made his first appearance on the bench.
Sagamihara is listed as 3-5-2 in the lineup, but both wide midfielders Makoto FUKOIN and Hosaki are tightly managing the space, forming a shape close to a 5-back.
Forward Inoue, MF Iwabuchi, and MF Sogabe form a fluid 3-4-3 formation. The experienced Kawaguchi, a former Japan national team player, locks down the goal.
The match started in a chilly atmosphere with a temperature of 15.4℃ under a cloudy sky.

[First Half]
In the early stages, Sagamihara had the upper hand in the match, but Tokyo remained calm and defended against the opponent's attacks.
As time passes, push back the situation with long balls from the DF line into the opponent's territory, and seize the rhythm with aggressive pressing from the front line.
In the 14th minute, Insoo YU applied pressure in the front line, and Kiji seized the loose ball.
The player attempts to break through the side, surrounded by two opposing defenders, but persistently fights to regain possession and makes it his ball.
Continuing to evade the opponent's DF, cutting in while drawing in the DF, a final pass to the center. Hiraoka attempts a direct shot but goes well over the bar.
Goals were threatened consecutively from set plays at the 26th and 28th minutes.
In the 26th minute, a left corner kick taken from Insoo YU's play was met by Lins in the center, but the covering DF cleared it.
In the 28th minute, Hiraoka aimed for the cleared ball from the left corner kick, but it did not hit the target.
In the 32nd minute, Sagamihara caused a scare as Ue jumped out from a free kick on the left side of Tokyo's defense but did not make contact, resulting in a shot that went wide of the goal.
In the 36th minute, a free kick from the right side is cleared by the DF, but the ball is picked up just in front of the area.
The timing was disrupted, and a sharp shot was sent towards the goal, but the goalkeeper made a save.
In the 41st minute, it becomes a slightly open development centered around counterattacks for both sides.
Connecting from Ogawa to Nozawa on the left side and spreading to the opposite side. Yanagi, who received this, couldn't break through, but he reliably connected to Kiji, and Kiji delivered a soft cross to Hiraoka from a cut-in.
Hiraoka heads the ball down, and Suzuki takes a shot from just outside the area, but it goes over the bar.
The biggest chance of the first half was in stoppage time.
In the 45+1 minute, Nozawa spreads the ball to the right and Yanagi, who overlaps, delivers a cross. The ball goes through the crowd and reaches Insoo YU at the front of the goal.
Insoo YU controlled the ball with a one-touch, evaded the opponent, and took a shot from close range, but it hit the crossbar. No goal.
Immediately after missing this chance, Tokyo tries to attack down the left side but loses the ball and suffers a short counterattack.
Although Okazaki clears the floating ball to the front line, it is picked up by Sagamihara and developed into the wide-open space on the right side.
Calmly decided this and conceded a goal. Shortly after this, the first half ended and we went into halftime behind.

【Half Time】
Coach Nakamura's Comments
"We are able to play aggressively, so let's continue."
The loose ball situation is evenly matched, so let's win at the ball contest.
Let's all work hard and use the sides effectively.

【Second Half】
In the second half, where both teams did not make any substitutions, Tokyo launched a fierce attack.
At the start, both teams continued to fiercely contest possession, creating chances through intricate passing.
In the 58th minute, Suzuki in the center sends a fast pass to the left front line through the opponent's DF.
Ogawa, who advanced at the right moment, delivered a low cross into the area, but Hayashi jumped in and the Sagamihara defense blocked it with their bodies.
Tokyo missed a scoring opportunity, but took control after a player substitution.
In the 61st minute, Hirakawa was substituted in for Hiraoka.
Hirakawa will make his J3 debut at 16 years, 6 months, and 10 days, breaking the youngest appearance record held by C Osaka U-23 MF Hiroto YAMADA at 16 years, 7 months, and 15 days.
Tokyo switched to a 3-5-2 system, with Hirakawa partnering Suzuki as double defensive midfielders, and Nozawa as the left center-back. Ogawa played as the left wing-back and Yanagi as the right wing-back. The midfield was centralized with Hayashi and Insoo YU up front.
Then, in the 64th minute, Okazaki connected with Yanagi for an early cross into the goal area. This went over the Sagamihara defense and reached Hayashi in the box, who calmly slotted in a shot to equalize.
Tokyo, increasing their offensive pressure, earned a right corner kick in the 73rd minute from a persistent play by the team. Ogawa took the corner to the near post, where Okazaki jumped in and headed the ball in from a tight angle to turn the game around.
In the 78th minute, Yanagi passed to Ogawa, and unexpectedly, he sent a rough cross into the area, which Hayashi headed into the net, making it 3-1.
In the 87th minute, Koyama was switched out for Kobayashi, moving Suzuki back to the defense line to form a double pivot with Kobayashi and Hirakawa.
Then, in the 90+2 minute, Kobayashi intercepted a loose ball from the opponent's free kick, and Hirakawa picked it up.
In response to this, Hirakawa sends a long ball to Hayashi, who has made a run behind. The Sagamihara goalkeeper comes out, but Hayashi controls the ball first and calmly finishes to achieve a hat trick.
The match ended like this, resulting in a comeback victory of 4-1.

Thank you very much for your passionate support for FC Tokyo U-23.
We appreciate your continued warm support.

Summary of Coach Nakamura's Press Conference and Comments

I would like to express my gratitude to the many fans and supporters who came despite the cold.
In the match, we talked about being aggressive from the start, but we couldn't break through as the opponent was defending well, and our movements behind were fewer compared to the top teams.
After winning the ball, we lost it easily too many times, and we couldn't take control of the game. We had two or three chances in a back-and-forth match, but we couldn't convert them, and in the end, we conceded the first goal.
I told the players to stay positive because it wasn't a bad game at halftime.
Get more behind the scenes, run more than the opponent. Improved judgment in areas such as reliably connecting the ball after winning it.
Since we were losing, we checked our plays and positions towards the goal and approached the second half.
We were able to make good use of both the middle and the outside from the first half, which allowed us to have good attacks and score 4 goals.

【Player Comments】
《Ogawa》
"In the first half, we conceded a goal due to my mistake, but in the second half, everyone was able to move more aggressively than in the first half, so I think that contributed to the positive result."
(About your own play?) In the first half, I struggled to release the ball and lost possession many times, but in the second half, I was able to push forward more, and in the end, I was able to provide an assist, so it was good.
(We made substitutions and system changes) With the three-back formation, I and player Yanagi were able to move forward more aggressively, so I focused on breaking through behind the opponent.
(What is your enthusiasm for the next match?) Anyway, we want to go for a win as a team in J3, so I would like to aim for 3 points first.
