[Player/Coach Comments]
"Ryoya OGAWA"
"It wasn't a bad game overall, but it was a match where our weaknesses were exposed due to conceding from set pieces and crosses."
(What is the difference between before and after conceding?) Before conceding, we had the mindset of constantly pushing forward and creating multiple chances, but after conceding, we were pushed back by the opponent and became a bit passive.
It might have been good to have more players jumping out from behind.
(Was it above the team's average age?) I think that myself and Yamada player have to take on the roles that players like Okubo and Morishige usually do in J1, in J3.
I think I need to become the emotional center of the team in those areas.
(What is your enthusiasm for the next match?) I think it's not good to keep losing, so I want to concentrate and fight with all members firmly.
"Takahiro YANAGI"
"The opponent pressed us from the start of the game and it was a difficult situation, but we had to endure and keep the first half at zero."
I think it was a waste to concede from our own set pieces, which is our own challenge.
(What is the difference between last year and this year in your second year?) I think that in my second year, I need to start speaking up and leading the other players more, since I now have one year of experience.
(What is your enthusiasm for the next match?) We will correct the issues that arose from this match and aim to win the next game for sure."
"Summary of Coach Tadashi NAKAMURA's Press Conference"
"Unfortunately, we were defeated 0-2 in the opening game, despite the fact that many fans and supporters came to watch. We entered the game with a feeling of gratitude, but we were unable to share the joy of victory."
I still feel that in terms of the game, we have not yet reached the point where each individual has fully embraced the team's concept of "developing individual strength and entering J1".
Small one-on-one battles and reactions. Strength in ball control. Each individual needs to strengthen these aspects in order to win the ball in crucial moments, as we often lost possession to the opponent.
The points lost were also due to battles in set plays and crosses.
In the attacking phase, we had several chances but ultimately couldn't score, so we want to continue training to improve in that aspect.
