[Player and Coach Comments]
《Ryoya OGAWA》
"It wasn't a bad match overall, but we conceded goals from set pieces and crosses, which highlighted our weaknesses in the game."
(What is the difference before and after conceding a goal?) Before conceding a goal, we had the awareness to push forward and created several chances, but after conceding, we were pushed back by the opponent and became a bit passive.
It might have been better if there were more players breaking through from the back.
(Was it above the team average age?) Usually, I think that the roles that players like Yu OKUBO and Morishige perform in J1 need to be taken on by myself and player Yamada in J3.
I believe we need to become the mental center of the team in those aspects.
(What are your thoughts on the next match?) I think it's not good to keep losing, so I want us all to focus and fight together.
《Takahiro YANAGI》
"From the start of the match, the opponent applied pressure from the front, creating a difficult situation, but we had to endure and keep it at zero in the first half."
I think it was a regrettable mistake to concede a goal from a set piece, which is one of our challenges.
(What are the differences between last year and this year in the second year?) Having one year of experience, I believe that in the second year, I need to be able to speak up more and lead the players around me.
(What are your aspirations for the next match?) I want to correct the issues that arose from this match's results and definitely win the next game.
Summary of Coach Tadashi NAKAMURA's Press Conference
"As it was the opening match, many fans and supporters came to watch, and I entered the match with a feeling of gratitude. Unfortunately, we lost 0-2 and were unable to share in the joy."
Regarding the match, I realized that we are still far from reaching the team's concept of 'each individual gaining strength to advance to J1'.
A little bit of one-on-one battles and reactions. Strength at the ball. Each individual needs to strengthen these aspects, or else there will be many situations where the opponent ends up with the ball.
The goals conceded were due to set-piece contests and battles for crosses.
In terms of offense, we had several chances, but ultimately we were unable to score a goal, and I would like to focus on training to improve that aspect.
