[Player and Coach Comments]
《Masayuki YAMADA》
"In the first half, we were able to fight tenaciously, and I think it was a good development because we reflected on the goal we conceded from the previous set piece."
However, conceding a goal due to a lapse or in a one-on-one situation in the second half is a point of reflection, but I believe we have definitely grown compared to the last match, so I want to properly address this reflection and approach the next game.
(Do you feel confident in your play?) I need to show more presence, and by doing so, it will help tighten the team. I hope to be able to defend in a way that showcases my characteristics.
(You were the captain today, but what did you focus on?) I didn't particularly focus on anything, but the coach told me to 'just play as usual,' so I want to take the lead on the pitch and guide the team. I didn't have any special focus, but I want to continue to showcase my characteristics.
(What are your aspirations for the next match?) The entire team is growing, but I believe that without winning, we cannot grow further. I feel sorry for our fans and supporters, so each of us wants to sincerely face our challenges, improve, and prepare for the next match.
《Go HATANO》
"(Compared to the previous match?) I think we were able to reduce goals conceded from set pieces and crosses from the sides."
(There were some dangerous scenes, but?) I think I was able to apply the lessons learned from the last time since I was doing individual training during practice.
However, I believe that maintaining concentration until the end is a challenge, so I want to focus on that aspect and become a player who can succeed in J3 and perform well on the J1 stage.
(Were there players from U-18 who usually do not practice together?) Since I played in U-18 last year, there were no particular issues, and we were able to communicate well.
(I think there were accurate instructions) but I believe it is my own characteristic, so I hope to bring out the good parts.
(Do you want your first victory?) Yes, I do. I want to make sure we can definitely win the next time we play.
(How was the defensive response?) There were some accidents, but I believe we need to hold our ground even in such situations to rise to the top. I think it was a good experience, and I want to make use of it next time.
(Was the team's focus and calmness not lost?) I don't think it was lost.
Summary of Coach Tadashi NAKAMURA's Press Conference
"We are grateful for the many fans and supporters who came from Tokyo.
It was a match that we really wanted to win. In the previous match, we couldn't score, but in this match, we were able to take the lead at a good time.
The players tried to engage more players in scoring. I think there was progress compared to the previous match.
However, I stopped running midway, and despite various accidents, we conceded two goals and lost, which is very frustrating. It was a match that made me realize there are still many areas where we need to improve.
