[Player and Coach Comments]
《Riku HIROSUE》
"In the first half, there were moments when we pressed forward, but we couldn't score, which created a bit of a negative flow. However, I think it was very good that we were able to work together with the defense to keep it at zero."
Even after scoring a goal, there were many times when we were pushed back, but it was really great that the entire team was able to defend tenaciously and keep a clean sheet.
(First appearance, first start, victory with a shutout, any nerves?)
It was my debut match, but I had no nerves at all; I was savoring the happiness of playing among the fans and supporters of FC Tokyo during the game.
Weren't you a bit shy when you did the 'Sha'?
At first, I didn't really understand, but I noticed when other players called out to me.
Honestly, I felt a bit sorry and thought that Kobayashi (Miki) would do it, so I appreciated your consideration and was allowed to do it (laughs)
(Weren't there many fans and supporters waiting for their first appearance?)
There have been times when things haven't gone well, but there were people who supported us during that time, which was encouraging, and I want to turn that into strength and continue moving forward.
(What is the difference between previous matches and J.League matches?)
I felt that the passion of the fans and supporters is different from before.
During my time in the Premier League (in high school), there were fans and supporters of FC Tokyo on the opposing team, and I felt considerable pressure.
However, this time, being in a position to be supported was a very reassuring presence.
(What are your aspirations for the next match?)
Since we were able to achieve our first victory in J3, I hope to carry this good momentum into the next game.
《Yoshitake SUZUKI》
Achieving our first victory is a significant milestone for the team, and I believe it was good for the team to respond well to the opponent's power play at the end of the match, which was a challenge for us in the previous game.
(How is the individual's performance?)
In terms of offense, there were noticeable mistakes just like in the previous match, and I think there are still issues as the number of times we pushed forward was also low.
I feel that I was able to improve in defense and picking up second balls compared to the last match, but I still think the recovery rate is low, so I want to work on that.
(What are your aspirations for the next match?)
I think winning was a significant achievement, but I want to continue as a team while also working hard to gradually improve my own performance.
Summary of Coach Tadashi NAKAMURA's Press Conference
"It was the second home game and the first match of the season at AJINOMOTO FIELD NISHIGAOKA, so I was glad that many fans and supporters came out, and we were able to share in the joy together. I am grateful for that."
I think there were many difficult moments in the match. We struggled to play our style of football as we were unable to cope with the opponent's power, height, and speed, leading to a challenging time.
However, they repeatedly worked on clearing the ball, especially focusing on the GK and center backs, and picking up the loose balls.
We couldn't really show our challenges in attack, but as time went on, we gradually increased our number of attacks, scored goals, and were able to defend successfully.
