[Player/Coach Comments]
"Riku HIROSUE"
"Although there were some moments where we were able to push forward in the first half, we were unable to score and the momentum turned against us. However, I think it was great that we were able to work together with the defense and keep a clean sheet."
After scoring one point, there were many times when we were pushed back, but it was really good that the whole team was able to defend persistently and keep the score at zero.
(First appearance, first start, victory with a shutout, nerves, etc?)
Although it was my debut match, I didn't feel any nerves at all and was able to play the game while savoring the happiness of being able to play in front of FC Tokyo fans and supporters.
(When you did the 'Shah', were you feeling shy?)
At first, I didn't understand it well, but I noticed it when other players talked to me.
Honestly, I also feel sorry, but I was able to do it because I thought Kobayashi (Miki) would do it, so thank you for your consideration (laughs)
(Were there many fans and supporters waiting for their first appearance?)
Although there was a period where things didn't go well, there were people who supported us and it was reassuring. We want to use that as strength and continue to do our best.
(What is the difference between previous games and J-League games?)
I felt a different level of passion from the fans and supporters.
During my time in the Premier League (high school), there were fans and supporters of FC Tokyo on the opposing team, and I felt a lot of pressure.
However, this time I was in a position to be supported, and it was a very reassuring presence.
(What is your enthusiasm for the next match?)
After achieving our first victory in J3, we hope to continue this positive momentum in the next game."
"Yoshitake SUZUKI"
"Winning for the first time is a big thing for the team, and I think it was good for the team to be able to respond firmly to the opponent's power play in the last game, which was a challenge in the previous game."
(How is your individual performance?)
In terms of attacking, there are still many mistakes that stand out, and the number of times we go forward is also low. I think there are still many challenges ahead.
I feel like I was able to pick up on the defensive part and second balls better compared to the previous match, but I still think the recovery rate is low, so I want to improve on that.
(What is your enthusiasm for the next match?)
I think it was a big thing to win, but at the same time, I want to continue as a team and work hard to improve my performance little by little.
"Summary of Coach Tadashi NAKAMURA's Press Conference"
"It was the second home game and the first game of the season at Ajinomoto Field Nishigaoka, and I am grateful that many fans and supporters came to cheer us on and share the joy together."
I think the game was very difficult. We struggled against the opponent's power, height, and speed, and were unable to play our own soccer for a long time.
However, the GK and center back often bounced back and picked up loose balls.
"We weren't able to show much of a challenge in our attack, but as time passed, we gradually increased our number of attacks and were able to score and hold our defense."
