[Player and Coach Comments]
《Takuya UCHIDA》
I started on the right side, but in the first half, I wasn't able to create many chances in terms of attacking play. I felt that I needed to do much more.
In the second half, I played as a defensive midfielder, had more opportunities to touch the ball, and increased my chances to dribble. I believe I was able to fulfill my role as a defensive midfielder to some extent, so next, I want to create chances from various positions to contribute to scoring.
(Any nerves or anything?)
At first, I was a little nervous, but since I had participated in the U-18 before, I thought I would just do it as usual.
(There were many over-age players, right?)
The team felt more cohesive. However, if we don't perform well within this group, we won't be able to compete in J1, so I played with the awareness that I need to be a central figure in this group.
(What are your aspirations for the next match?)
I want to contribute to the victory by being involved in scoring, no matter what position I play.
Player Mikiharu Kobayashi
As a team, we conceded two goals in the second half, making the match difficult for ourselves.
As an individual, I was able to score one goal, but there were other chances as well, so I want to become a player who can decide the match.
(Did you receive specific instructions?)
There weren't any in particular, but since we were able to launch good attacks in the first half, I thought I could join in well and score.
(Scoring in 2 consecutive matches)
It was good to score in 2 consecutive matches, but I think we need to improve the quality of our play beyond just scoring.
At the time of the goal, there was no marker on me. Ogawa kicked a great ball, so it was a ball that anyone could touch to score, not just me.
(What do you feel about continuing to play in professional matches?)
I think that more than in U-18 matches, we have to play with weight on each play and be careful not to concede a goal from a single play.
(What are your thoughts on the next match?)
Having played 4 matches and only achieving 1 win, I absolutely want to win the next match and share the joy with our fans and supporters.
Summary of Coach Tadashi NAKAMURA's Press Conference
"We are grateful for the favorable weather and for the many supporters who came to our home game."
It was a very disappointing game that we lost among them.
Regarding the content, today we had four over-age players, including a goalkeeper, join us for the first time in a while. The game settled down, and there were many moments where we won individual battles. However, as a team, there are still weak points, and I think our youth showed in the fact that we conceded goals due to our own mistakes.
I think we created more chances than in our usual matches, but we still haven't developed the ability to finish them, so I want to practice more and take on the challenge again.
