[Player and Coach Comments]
《Masayuki YAMADA》
"In the first half, we continued to have our time, enjoyed ourselves, and were able to score and finish strong."
In the second half, we became passive due to the opponent pressing from the front, and there was no common awareness among the entire team at that point.
However, it was great that everyone put their bodies on the line, aligned their spirits, kept a clean sheet, and were able to win.
(How has your play changed compared to the beginning of the season?)
Thanks to the accumulation of experiences gained from each match, I have become more relaxed in a good way.
In that regard, I think we need to pay more attention to our surroundings and broaden our perspective.
In J1, the speed is faster and the level is higher, so I want to always focus on that and strive to play in a way that can overwhelm others even in J3.
(What changes do you feel as captain?)
I believe I have been entrusted with the captaincy because I am the oldest, and compared to the first match, communication within the team has increased.
It has become more common to see players who are participating in matches with the top team taking the lead and guiding the team, so I hope we can improve further as we accumulate more matches.
(Towards the next match)
The DF line players will continue to be aware of maintaining a clean sheet, while the forwards will aim to score more, and we absolutely want to win the next game.
《Takefusa KUBO》
Today's match saw the momentum shift back and forth between times when we were on the attack and times when we were being pressured.
As a result, we were able to achieve a 1-0 shutout victory, and I believe the team played well.
(How is your own play?)
I have had the opportunity to experience several matches in J3, and I feel that my playing time is increasing day by day, and I am gradually improving my skills. I believe this is a stage where I can clearly see my challenges.
Scoring a goal today has made me feel more at ease emotionally.
I would like to express my gratitude once again to the fans and supporters who have watched over us until now.
(What was the scoring scene?)
As I entered between the three defenders, I hesitated to pass to Uchida, but since Uchida drew the opponent in, space opened up inside, allowing me to carry the ball myself.
It was a situation where all that was left was to shoot, and I was surprised when the shot went in, but it felt like we did it.
(Towards the next match)
I want to show the fans and supporters plays that can contribute to the team's victory in the same way in the next match, so I appreciate your continued support.
Summary of Coach Tadashi NAKAMURA's Press Conference
"First of all, I would like to thank all the fans and supporters who traveled all the way to away Osaka."
Thank you for allowing us to play the match in very good ground conditions among two young teams.
I conveyed to the players that, as there are top J1 teams among each other, we should have a dynamic match and aim for victory in the U-23 team.
In reality, there were many scenes where we were pressured for about the first 20 minutes of the first half, but as time went on, we were able to move the ball in our own style and I think we managed to create some chances.
Among them, Kubo was able to score his first goal and take a 1-0 lead into halftime.
In the second half, during the period when the team's legs stopped, the opponent created scoring opportunities, but we entered the field with a promise to all take 3 points today.
We were able to somehow contain the GK and DF, and achieved victory.
