[Player/Coach Comments]
"Masayuki YAMADA"
"We were able to continue our time in the first half, have fun, and score points, and finish."
In the second half, we became passive due to the opponent's aggressive play, and as a result, the team as a whole did not have a shared understanding.
However, even there, everyone put their bodies on the line, aligned their feelings, and were able to keep a clean sheet and win. It was good.
(How has your play changed since the beginning of the season?)
Thanks to the accumulation of experience gained in each game, I have gained confidence in a good way.
I think we need to pay more attention to our surroundings and broaden our perspective.
In J1, we aim to play at a faster pace and a higher level, so we always focus on that and strive to dominate in J3 as well.
(How has your mindset changed as captain?)
I think I've been entrusted with the captaincy because I'm the oldest, but compared to the first game, communication within the team has increased.
As more and more players from the TOP team take the lead and pull the team together during games, I hope we can continue to improve as we play more matches.
(For the next match)
The DF line players will continue to be conscious of keeping a clean sheet, while the players in front will aim to score more goals, and we definitely want to win the next game as well.}
"Takefusa KUBO"
"Today's game was a back-and-forth battle for control, with both sides taking turns attacking."
I think it was a good game for the team to win with a 1-0 shutout in the end.
(How is your own play?)
I have had the experience of playing in several J3 matches, and I feel that I am gradually improving my skills as I spend more time playing. I also see my weaknesses more clearly on this stage.
Today, I feel relieved by scoring a goal.
We would like to express our gratitude once again to all the fans and supporters who have been watching over us.
(What was the scoring scene?)
I was hesitating whether to pass to Uchida player when I entered between three DFs, but Uchida player drew the opponent's attention, so I was able to create space inside and carry the ball myself.
It was a situation where all that was left was to shoot, so when the shot went in, I was surprised but also felt accomplished.
(For the next match)
I hope to continue to contribute to the team's victory with this performance and show it to all the fans and supporters. Thank you for your continued support.」
"Summary of Coach Tadashi NAKAMURA's Press Conference"
"First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to all the fans and supporters who have come all the way to Osaka away."
Thank you very much for playing the game in such a good ground condition among young teams.
We conveyed the message to the players that they should strive for victory in the dynamic match, as there are both J1 top teams and U-23 teams among the players.
In reality, there were many scenes where we were pushed back for about 20 minutes in the first half, but as time passed, we were able to move the ball in our own way and create chances somehow.
Kubo was able to score his first goal and lead the first half 1-0.
In the second half, we made a promise to each other to take 3 points as a team and entered the field, even though the opponent created scoring opportunities during the time when our team was struggling.
We were able to hold on with our GK and DF at the center and secure a victory.
