[Player/Coach Comments]
"Kento HASHIMOTO"
(About the goal)
I was able to skillfully enter the ball into the place where it seemed to go up. A good ball came from player Ota, so all I had to do was to slide it in.
(About the match)
There were many long balls from the opponent, and there were many times when we had to fight for the second ball.
I want to increase the time to keep the ball a little more and have more time for ourselves.
In order to do that, I felt that controlling the ball more calmly and stopping the opponent's momentum were challenges.
"Yoshito OKUBO"
(About today's match)
Both teams played a lot of long balls, but it was a big win for us with a final score of 3-0.
(About the distance with player Kono)
Kono always makes me feel like he's watching me. He comes in more and more, and he tries to receive the ball in between, so the distance between us has improved.
(What I focused on in today's game)
Today, I entered the game with a strong focus on breaking through the back and pressing firmly.
I always thought that by doing it myself, I could contribute to the team's strength, and I want to continue doing so in the future.
(About scoring scenes)
From the middle of the second half, the opponent also became sluggish, and the distance between the front line became much better just before scoring the second goal.
If we can maintain that distance, I think we can break down the opponent, so I want to keep that distance from the first half.
Today, the opponent's feet have stopped, so we have reached that distance, but that won't work against strong teams, so we need to be more aware of that.
"Summary of Manager Yoshiyuki SHINODA's Press Conference"
"I expected it to be a very difficult game, but I think I struggled more than I expected."
However, we patiently endured the opponent's long balls and long throws and gradually gained control of the game.
The point difference may have widened, but I don't think it was that kind of game. We still have things to do, and I feel that these 3 points were brought about by the players' perseverance and positive attitude.
"We would like to thank all the fans and supporters for their support until the end, and we consider it a truly valuable 3 points. We would like to prepare for the next game."
"Summary of Niigata Fumitake Miura's press conference"
"I think the players were able to focus on the game. In the first half, we were able to enter the area multiple times and create chances, but we couldn't finish them off. We were only able to score one goal from a free kick and the first half ended. At halftime, I told them, "The content itself is not bad, and if we can equalize with one goal, we can definitely turn this game around." The players also felt that and had a really good start to the second half, but the players on the front line, especially Thiago and Lins, were getting tired. Just as we were about to bring in Tatsuya Tanaka, we were caught off guard and conceded the second goal. After that, we couldn't turn the game around. In the end, it was a game where the opponent was able to control the game."
