[Player and Coach Comments]

《Yuichi MARUYAMA》
"The goal came when the ball happened to come in front of me (laughs). Since it came in front of my right foot, I was just focused on making contact with it.
More than that... I'm not a FW (laughs awkwardly).
It was the first goal scored in the flow of the game (not from a direct free kick). I am happy to have contributed to the victory by scoring it.

(Was it a long wait until your first J1 goal?)
That's right. I was competing with FW Yohei HAYASHI, who transferred to Oita, to see who would score in J1 first. I will contact Yohei right away today (laughs).
However, while scoring is important, I also think it was good to keep a clean sheet. The forwards applied pressure, and the midfield players slid well, so personally, I should have been more aware of raising and lowering the line.
Everyone fought patiently and was able to limit the goals conceded. Winning at home was the best part.

(About "Sha")
I don't like to stand out, so... not too much... (bitter smile). It's fine for me to be a supporting presence rather than the main character.

《Yojiro TAKAHAGI》
"(Was it a match against your former club?)
I didn't think about it too much; I just wanted to win. I'm glad that I was able to do that."

(How did we try to break through Hiroshima's solid defense?)
As time passes, space will open up for Hiroshima.
There were periods where it was difficult to break through, but we fought as patiently as possible and tried to create chances starting from the sides.
Ultimately, it resulted in a goal from a set piece, which is also a point. We were aiming to utilize Kosuke's crosses and kicks.

(Did you manage to contain Hiroshima MF Aoyama well?)
I believed it was important to play against the opponent's ball holder.
Including player Kajiyama, our defense caught the Hiroshima attack and pushed me forward. It was easier to move forward.
It should be the strength of FC Tokyo to maintain balance and be able to win games by a one-point margin. There was confidence in that.

《Summary of Coach Yoshiyuki SHINODA's Press Conference》
I realized once again that we must fight patiently in order to earn points in the match against Sanfrecce Hiroshima.
The players were dedicated from the start, repeatedly transitioning from solid defense to good offense, and they maintained this for 90 minutes, including the forwards. I particularly felt that Maeda and Yu OKUBO are important players for the team, as they can push forward and also contribute to defense.
In terms of offense, we created several chances with crosses in the first half, but we wanted to finish those properly. We were able to practice a bit of breaking through in training, so now it's about how to score. I think that was the kind of match it was.
GK Hayashi and the four defenders effectively led the team, and I think Kajiwara and Takahagi were able to advance the game well from the start. There are still areas that need to develop, but above all, I believe we can move forward with these three points, so I want everyone to work even harder in training and prepare for the next match.

《Q&A》
Q=Do you feel confident in the defensive organization?
In response to the opponent's wide players being open, we want to ensure a solid slide. Instead of allowing the four defenders to be pulled by the lone striker and giving space to the two shadows, we raised the line properly, and the defenders and the defensive midfielder did well to maintain a position where all four could see the shadows. However, there were moments where a slight misalignment allowed Kashiwa players to carry the ball, but I think we managed to respond well.

What do you think is necessary to finally break through and score a goal?
The attack from the side through crosses and the combination from the center showed promise, but the final accuracy was lacking.
In the scene where Higashi crossed to the near post, one person needed to enter the near area, and I think there was a slight miscommunication there.
Hiroshima is a solid team that doesn't crumble easily. I think it was a tough task against such an opponent, but we have to continue training on aspects like the final pass and the movements to challenge the opponent leading up to the final shot. I believe there are various reasons for this, but I want us all to understand and work together as a team.

Q=About the good form of Kosuke OTA
Ota is a crosser and free kick taker, but Higashi is doing a great job creating the timing for crosses from the front line.
Ota is always approaching training with a sense of urgency and tension amidst the competition within the team. I believe that attitude brings out the best in him.
I was able to effectively contain the matchup with Mikic, and I believe I handled the defensive aspects, which are said to be his challenges, well. I think the daily training has undoubtedly created my current state.

《Hiroshima - Summary of the Press Conference by Coach Hajime MORIYASU》
Fighting at Ajinomoto Stadium means it will be a tough battle. Looking at the opponent's members, I approached the match with determination.
The players battled well from the start of the match, dealing with the pressure from the opponent, and they fought strongly and tenaciously in the key moments and for the second balls.
In the first half, despite facing many challenges, we fought hard to maintain a clean sheet, looking for opportunities to attack whenever possible. As the opponent's attacks began to weaken, we also focused on launching more offensive plays.
The players ran well and fought hard, and I think they played a good match while patiently progressing through the game. However, if we can properly overcome the situation where we were caught off guard by a set piece, I believe there were chances in the second half that could lead to goals.
In a situation where the way of fighting is not bad, results are not coming in.
I think it will be difficult to overcome the final hurdles, but as a team, we want to practice together and fight as one to get through it.
I believe that the players were able to fight until the end today because many supporters came, so I am grateful to all the supporters.

Q=About Takahagi Player
I felt once again that he is a wonderful player. He has the ability to control the game, and in attack, he knows how to utilize his teammates, while also making runs into the front line to launch dangerous attacks. In defense, he is a clever player who can effectively suppress the points we aim to attack.
I felt that I changed after playing for an overseas club from Sanfrecce Hiroshima. In particular, my experience at FC Seoul, where I had to win not only domestically but also in Asia, made me a player who embodies a winner's mentality.
