[Player and Coach Comments]
《Kensuke NAGAI》
"Honestly, I feel relieved to have scored my first goal."
I originally tend to take a long time to score my first goal after transferring. When I moved to Nagoya, I finally scored around August (laughs).
However, the match continues, so I want to work hard to continue scoring from this first goal and to be able to score in the league as well.
Until now, I think I have been too focused on defense, making it difficult to switch to offense in the matches.
Today, I discussed with Narita and was conscious of defending while blurring the marks to some extent and moving forward.
I think Utaka and Takuma worked well together, and we were able to create a situation where Shoya and I could get involved.
Especially when Utaka creates space in the front line, it allows for the second and third attacks to follow, and when I break through, Utaka and Takuma would fill that space.
There was fluidity, and from there, Shoya had opportunities to aim.
In the goal scene, Utaka and Takuma pulled the opposing defenders, which opened up space in front of the area.
I think we were able to create an attacking shape from good movement.
《Takefusa KUBO》
I felt once again that the level is high after participating in a J1 match.
My honest impression is that I have finally taken a step forward there.
There was a sense of tension when I arrived at the stadium, but once I stood on the pitch, there was no time to be nervous.
I thought that the battles for the ball were tougher in J3, but the ball speed and one-touch play definitely give the impression that it's J1.
Even when pressing to take the ball, I was often evaded, and after repeatedly trying to take it, I became out of breath, which made it difficult.
(Regarding participation)
I received instructions from Coach Shinoda to "communicate to the players that the marking has changed due to the substitutions by Sapporo" and to "work hard in the final part of the attack."
Since both the opponent and my teammates were tired, I thought that if I didn't run, there would be no point in me being on the field.
(About the FK)
It was a chance that had to be taken.
I aimed for the near post, but it was just a step away, so I'm really frustrated.
(Regarding the series of plays that led to the FK)
If you don't make a move there, you're not a FW.
I could see the opponent coming, but I made my move.
I ended up falling, but I thought I might as well take a shot, so I did, but the play just before that was a foul by the opponent.
(In today's match, what did you feel about being able to compete in J1 or still having a long way to go?)
I don't think I was able to fully demonstrate my abilities, so I'm not sure about that.
(Regarding the stand's call)
I could hear it a little (laughs).
At first, I was a bit worried that the cheers from the stands were too loud and I wouldn't be able to concentrate on the play... but I think I was able to take it in well and play comfortably with their support.
(Regarding "Sha")
It was said that this is the first time for player Nagai, and he was asked to "teach".
I have done it several times, so I conveyed that.
(Regarding Sapporo MF Ono)
I have seen his play in videos so far, and his volley in the recent Levain Cup was amazing.
He is a player who participated in the World Cup, has an aura, and his quality of play is high.
Each play was precise, and the trap seemed to stick to the foot.
(Regarding the future based on today's match participation)
This one match does not mean the end, and as a football player, I want to keep aiming higher.
I want to reach the level of J1 and continue aiming for higher.
I feel that I am half a step ahead of players my age.
However, even if the start is early, I want to continue growing without losing speed from here.
《Summary of Coach Yoshiyuki SHINODA's Press Conference》
It was good to have earned 3 points. I'm a little relieved, but I think it was a situation where we didn't know what would happen if we didn't score additional goals.
There were some positive aspects, but I want to improve the judgment on when to show the selfish side to break through the goal and how to use that selfishness to involve others.
If we could have scored the second goal before halftime, we could have pushed harder and shown many good scenes while holding the ball. After all, we are holding the ball to break through the goal, so I want the whole team to focus on finding our challenges a bit more.
However, I was able to see many positive aspects, and I think I was able to run more than the opponent today, so I want to keep looking forward and moving ahead.
《Q&A》
Q=Regarding the timing and evaluation of Kubo's substitution
Since the match was 1-0, I think the timing for substitutions was a bit delayed, but I feel that they could have performed well even if they had come on at the start of the second half, and perhaps they have the skills and tactical awareness to be used as a starter.
However, the time spent with the team was limited, and since he was also playing in J3, I think that amount of playing time was good for both the team and him.
As you can see from the technical aspects, you can face forward without fear.
After the match, I spoke with him, and he mentioned that there were moments when he could have made a through pass and during the free kick, saying, "I couldn't find my timing, and I'm frustrated." I think we will see him in many high-level matches from now on, so first, I want him to do his best with the U-20 Japan national team.
Q=It was expressed that we won against Sapporo, but what is the evaluation of Takuma ABE and Shoya NAKAJIMA in the front line?
Abe received the ball between the opposing players and controlled the game very well, so I have a very high evaluation of him. Even when the ball went to the side, he ran back to defend.
However, there were chances to score. I think that's his current challenge. However, I believe the attitude and play he showed today were very good.
Regarding Nakajima, he is excellent in one-on-one situations. I think his challenge is how to utilize others from there.
I want him to continue actively taking shots. However, he needs to improve on when, where, and how to involve others to get into the play, or other players might get knocked out. Today, I wanted to use him for a longer time, but I substituted him because the number of times we lost the ball increased.
However, both of them are valuable assets, so I hope they continue to train.
《Press Conference Summary of Sapporo's Coach Shuhei Yomoda》
Throughout the match, the defense was resilient. At first, we were on the back foot, but I think we stabilized after switching to three midfielders and two forwards. However, in terms of attack, we couldn't create any buildup, and we continued to face repeated crises due to self-destruction.
As the members changed in the final stages, the opportunities to carry the ball increased, but we were unable to create shooting chances. The players worked hard to secure points until the end during the consecutive matches, so we want to switch gears and prepare for the league matches.
《Q&A》
Q=It seemed that there were more passes to feet during the build-up phase, what is the reason for that?
FC Tokyo's pressure was quick, and I think we couldn't keep up with our decision-making speed and preparation, leaving us no room to breathe.
Please tell us the intention and evaluation behind the selection of Fujimura, who made his first start.
With many injured players, there was a desire to give young players a chance during the consecutive matches. Regarding Fujimura, there were good signs in terms of breakthroughs during the camp before the season started, so there are expectations there.
He ran well and worked hard during the time he was on the field, but due to the flow of the match, he was unable to showcase his strengths, so I think that is a challenge for him.
I want you to think about what is lacking from now on and continue to work hard in the undercategories.
