[Player/Coach Comments]

"Kensuke NAGAI"
"Honestly, I feel relieved to have scored my first goal."
I was originally slow to score my first goal after transferring. Even when I moved to Nagoya, it wasn't until around August that I finally scored (bitter laugh).
However, the game continues, so I want to do my best to score more goals in the league matches as well, using this first goal as a starting point.

I think I have been too conscious of defense and have had a hard time switching to attack in the past.
Today, I talked with Naru and we were conscious of defending while blurring the lines (mark) to some extent and moving forward.
I think we were able to create a good connection between Utaka and Takuma, and then Shoya and I were able to get involved there.
Especially when Utaka creates time on the front line, we were able to make the second and third moves beyond that, and if I could break away, Utaka and Takuma would enter that space for me.
There was fluidity, and there were also scenes where Shoya aimed from there.
The goal scene was also opened up in front of the area because Utaka and Takuma pulled the opposing DF.
I think we were able to create an attacking shape from good movements.

"Takefusa KUBO"
"I felt the level was high again when I played in the J1 match."
My honest impression is that I was finally able to take a step forward there.

When I came to the stadium, I felt nervous, but once I stepped onto the pitch, I was no longer nervous.
I thought that the competition for the ball was tougher in J3, but the ball speed and one-touch plays left an impression that J1 is still superior.
Even when pressing and going to take the ball, it was often avoided, and it was difficult to catch up with my breath when I repeated it many times.

(Before the match)
From coach Shinoda, we received instructions to convey to the players that "the marking has changed due to Sapporo's player substitution" and to "do their best in the final part of the attack".
Both the opponent and the teammate were tired, so I also thought that there was no point in playing if I didn't run.

(About FK)
It was a chance that I had to decide.
I aimed for the top of the near, but it was just one step away, so I'm really frustrated.

(Regarding the series of plays that led to the FK)
If you don't make a move there, you're not a FW.
I could see the opponent coming, but I made a move.
In the end, I fell down, but I thought I might as well try to shoot, so I did, but the play right before that became a foul by the opponent.

(What did you feel was effective in today's match in J1 and what do you still feel needs improvement?)
I don't think I was able to fully demonstrate my abilities, so I'm not sure about that.

(About stand calls)
I could hear it a little (laughs).
At first, I was a little worried if I could concentrate on my play because the cheering voices from the stands were so loud... But they entered my ears in a good way and I think I was able to play comfortably with the support.

("About Shah")
Nagai was asked "teach me" because it was his first time.
I have done it several times, so I told them about it.

(About Sapporo MF Ono)
I have seen his play on video before, and his volley in the recent Levain Cup was amazing.
He was also a player who participated in the World Cup, had an aura, and had a high quality of play.
Each play was precise and the traps seemed to stick to the feet.

(Considering today's game appearance, about the future)
I don't want to end with just one game, and as a soccer player, I want to aim higher and higher.
I want to reach even higher levels in J1.
I feel like I am one step ahead of players my age.
"However, even if we start off quickly, we want to continue growing without losing speed from here on out."

"Press Conference Summary by Coach Yoshiyuki SHINODA"
It was good to earn 3 points. I'm a little relieved, but I think it was a situation where I didn't know what would happen if I didn't score an additional point.
Although there were some positive aspects, I want to improve the decision-making process of using my ego to score goals and using others to enter the game.
If we could have scored a second goal in the first half, we could have pushed even more and shown many good scenes where we had control of the ball. As we are holding onto the ball in order to score, I think we need to continue to look at the challenges as a team.
However, I was able to see many positive aspects and I think I was able to run more than the opponent today, so I want to keep looking forward and moving forward.

"Q&A"
Q=Regarding the timing and evaluation of Kubo's substitution

It was a game development of 1-0, so I think the timing of the substitution was a little late, but I feel that I could have played from the start of the second half, and I have the technical and tactical eye to be able to use it from the starting lineup.
However, since I didn't spend much time with the team and also played in J3, I think that amount of playing time was good for both the team and him.
As you can see from the technical aspect, don't be afraid and face forward.
After the match, I talked to him and he said that there were times when he could have made a through pass and during free kicks, he said, "I couldn't find my distance and I'm frustrated." I think we will see him in many high-level matches from now on, so I hope he will do his best with the U-20 Japan national team first.

Q=What is the evaluation of Takuma ABE and Shoya NAKAJIMA on the front line, despite being described as having won against Sapporo?

Abe received the ball and controlled the game while carrying it among the opposing players, so he received a very good evaluation. Even when the ball went to the side, he ran to defend.
However, there were chances to score. I think that is his current challenge. However, I think the attitude and play he showed today were very good.
In terms of Nakajima, he is excellent up to one-on-one situations. The challenge for him is how to use his teammates from there.
I want him to continue taking shots actively. However, if he doesn't improve on how to use his teammates and get into the box, other players may knock on the door. I wanted to use him for a longer time today, but he was substituted because he started losing the ball more often.
However, both of them are valuable players, so I hope they continue to train.

"Sapporo - Coach Shuhei Yoneda's Press Conference Summary"
Throughout the match, the defense was able to hold on. Although we were initially on the back foot, I think we were able to stabilize after switching to a 3-man midfield and 2-man attack. However, in terms of offense, we were unable to create opportunities and struggled to find our attacking shape, leading to repeated self-destruction and dangerous situations.
The final members changed and there were more opportunities to carry the ball, but we couldn't create a shooting chance. The players worked hard until the end of the consecutive games to earn points, so we want to switch gears and prepare for the league matches.

"Q&A"
Q=It seemed that there were more passes to the feet in the build-up phase, what was the reason for that?

FC Tokyo's pressure was also quick, and I think we didn't have enough time to make our own decisions and preparations.

Q=Please tell us about the intention and evaluation of appointing player Fujimura as the first starter.

There were many injured players, and there was a desire to give young players a chance during consecutive games. As for Fujimura, there were high expectations for him due to his performance during the pre-season camp he attended.
Regarding the time he played, he ran well and worked hard, but due to the flow of the game, he was unable to show his strengths and ended up finishing there, so I think that is his personal challenge.
I want you to think about what is missing and do your best in the subcategories.
