[Player and Coach Comments]

《Takuji YONEMOTO》
"I'm fed up with injuries (bitter laugh)."
It has truly been a long journey up to this point... that is my honest feeling.
Even so, I was supported by many people and received cheers from various individuals, which allowed me to make this comeback.
It's not so much about how I played, but the most important thing is that the team won.
However, I believe that pushing up from the bottom will enhance the overall strength of the team. I want to continue to work hard to make that happen.
 Thank you for today

《Shoya NAKAJIMA》
"We conceded 3 goals, but in the end, we were able to win. I think it's because the entire team worked really hard.
Today, there were many young members, but I was thinking of playing actively and aggressively myself.

(Peter UTAKA's goal came from Nakajima's corner kick, right?)
Surprisingly this season, I have also provided assists from set pieces.
Set pieces can decide the match, so they are important. I want to continue working on them in the future.
Of course, I want to focus on scoring from the flow of the game as well.

(Utaka, along with Abe and the others, was able to demonstrate synergy in the front line?)
It was fun.
However, I have confidence that I can perform well with anyone.

Especially in the first half, I felt that I had fewer opportunities to receive the ball and there were also fewer chances to take a shot.
In the second half, the opponent started to show signs of fatigue, and I think we were able to establish a fast-paced connection.

I felt like the goal was just a bit off... but I'm glad I was able to score.
There were other chances as well, so I want to be conscious of practicing to convert those into goals.

(After the match, did you do a 'shar' with player Yonemoto?)
Today's star is player Yonemoto!

《Summary of Coach Yoshiyuki SHINODA's Press Conference》
"I feel a bit reflective about the chaotic match we had. There were many mistakes, and it was a match without composure. However, even amidst that, we were able to equalize after conceding a goal and then pull ahead. Today, I believe we earned points thanks to the players' efforts and the support from our fans and supporters."
Yamamoto has overcome a long and difficult time, and we were truly happy that he was able to return to the pitch of this stadium. I think he has also taken a step forward with this. Now, we want to prepare well and fight for the weekend.

《Q&A》
(What was the recovery plan for player Yonemoto?)
"It was his third surgery, and even if he says he's okay, he has been away from the game for such a long time, so I wanted to make sure to limit the time properly."
I believe he wanted to return earlier, but by being patient and playing like he did today within the time given, he will regain the sense of atmosphere and vision.
Ultimately, after having a thorough discussion with the medical team, the player, and the staff, everyone agreed that he could be on the bench today. I believe he will improve further, and I want to see more of him over a longer period, so I want to make judgments based on his training condition.

(In consecutive matches, especially the attacking lineup is composed of different members than in the league matches, but what impact does today's lineup have on the team?)
"The four in front are maintaining a very good sense of distance, but if we could score more goals, I think we could have moved the ball with a bit more advantage. There are still many areas where we need to improve.
However, today's members have been performing well in training, and their performance is such that it wouldn't be surprising if they played in the league matches, so it's not that we are changing the members just because it's the Levain Cup.
The members participating in the league matches have been dedicatedly defending from the front, so I believe today's members were able to continue that practice. I want everyone to strive and have a sense of competition. I think the players who didn't participate today also felt something by watching, and I want everyone to have a sense of competition moving forward.

(What was the intention and evaluation of using Insoo YU as a defensive midfielder?)
"One reason is that he has the speed to approach, and I thought Omiya is a team that builds up through the defensive midfielder, so I chose him. However, after winning the ball, he quickly saw good opportunities, and in the first half, there were many scenes of losing the ball, so I think it would have been better today if he could have distributed the ball a bit more calmly."
Although I took several middle shots, I think I had the ability to finish those and also to spread the play to the sides for secondary attacks, so today I could see both the good and the bad aspects.

《Omiya - Summary of the Press Conference by Coach Hiroki SHIBUYA》
"First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to the many fans and supporters who came to the stadium despite it being a weekday night match, especially since we have not been able to secure a victory after the match against Urawa. I also want to thank the FC Tokyo fans and supporters who came in large numbers."
The players played desperately, wanting to show a dynamic performance to those people and deliver a victory, but unfortunately, I feel that we were overpowered.
We had several scoring chances, and I think we had a higher ball possession rate, but I believe that being kicked long balls and neglecting proper positioning in the challenge and cover areas led to the conceded goals.
It was a match where I learned that neglecting such basic aspects can lead to conceding goals. However, the players were able to desperately pull one back from 4-2, and I want this goal to serve as a catalyst for the next match against Sendai. The players truly fought hard as a team, and their desire to win was evident, so I think that was good.
However, I told the players that I want them to avoid getting used to losing. Today's loss is truly frustrating, and I want the entire club and the whole team to take it seriously and prepare for the next league match against Sendai.

《Q&A》
(Regarding the Sendai match, were there any aspects of today's soccer or the members that could be utilized?)
"We were able to be very aggressive in our side plays. Creating a starting point and then making runs behind was something we could do from the middle of the second half. After that, I want to improve the accuracy of our crosses."
Also, before breaking through, I had been telling the players in training to put the ball in uncomfortable positions for the opponent and to take shots, so today their awareness was higher than usual. I believe that can lead to the next steps.
