[Player/Coach Comments]
"Riku HIROSUE"
"I think we had a lot of time controlling the game as a team, but we couldn't make it to the goal and score."
I think it is a big challenge for the team to concede a goal at the most crucial time.
(How was the feeling of the game, which was played with great concentration?)
As for today, our team concept was to set a high line and widen the GK's defensive range, and I think we did well in that aspect.
However, the scene of conceding a goal was due to the line being too low, and at the moment of the shot, it became like an air pocket and we ended up conceding a goal.
I think the challenge for the team is the aspect of continuity, which means playing for 90 minutes.
(Today was the second game, how was it compared to last time?)
I think there is a lack of parts that can inspire the team when the team is struggling.
I think it would be good if the team could make plays that can change the flow by shouting more and preventing pinches with saves when they are struggling.
(What is your enthusiasm for the next game?)
I want to focus on the team's victory rather than individual performance and contribute to the team's success.
"Takuji YONEMOTO"
"We started off well in the first half, but in the second half we were pushed back a lot and I think it's a challenge for the team that we conceded a goal."
I believe that a team that can bring a game to a draw is a truly strong team, so I want to pursue it further.
(Has the playing time gotten longer?)
I think it's getting better with each game.
Today, being able to play for 60 minutes was personally rewarding and I hope to continue this in the future.
(Are you feeling confident about making a full recovery?)
Yes, I am.
I feel like we are getting closer, but I don't think we are in top form yet, so I hope we can get closer by practicing.
(What is your enthusiasm for the next game?)
I hope to contribute to the team's victory by playing my own game in any match.」
"Summary of Coach Tadashi NAKAMURA's Press Conference"
"First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to all the fans and supporters who cheered loudly in this bad weather."
The game was very tough.
Last match, we had a bad start and had a player sent off, resulting in 3 goals conceded in the first half.
Today's game, our players were able to focus and enter the game with concentration by organizing what they needed to do and what they could do, first focusing on preparation and starting.
However, there were also parts where the attack became monotonous, and if we don't use our time more efficiently and work on the technical and team aspects, we won't be able to score against a very good team like today and win. I felt that there are still many things that we need to improve in order to win.
In the defensive part, the players fought tenaciously and did their best to keep the score at zero, but unfortunately conceded a goal in the end.
We would like to continue to connect our offense and defense in our future training.
