[Player/Coach Comments]

"Sotan TANABE"
"I stood on the pitch thinking, 'I have nothing to lose, so let's give it my all' as I was carrying a 2-point deficit."
I am good at "avoiding" the opponent's press.
Today, as a team, we were caught in Kashiwa's press and were unable to put the ball in the front line in a good shape.
Therefore, I was thinking of taking it off in the midfield and supplying passes to the front line.
If you can get past one opponent, the Kashiwa mark will also shift and the DF can also move.

(There was also a good pass to Yoshito OKUBO?)
"There were times when I was able to do it, and times when I couldn't."
Today, we were unable to fight in the part before the last play, rather than focusing on the accuracy and quality of the last play.
I think we were unable to build up from the back and play our own game.

Unfortunately, the goal did not lead to any points...
If we had been able to decide a little earlier, there might have been one more chance for the team.
However, personally, it leads to confidence and motivation.
We have one week until the next match, but I want to work hard and prepare well without getting discouraged while facing our challenges.

"Hiroki KAWANO"
"Although we had several chances in the first half, we were unable to create a clear opportunity as a team."
Today, the intentions of "before" and "after" didn't seem to align... or rather, they were a bit scattered.
Ryōichi and Yoshito are both running so much on defense.
There should also be times when we should connect passes and play an aggressive game.
"In the next week, let's all share our opinions and discuss how we can move the team forward."

"Press Conference Summary by Coach Yoshiyuki SHINODA"
"It's frustrating to lose in front of so many fans and supporters at home. The whole team, including the DF line, played defensively against Kashiwa's pressing."
I think we were under pressure from the opponent when we lowered the ball, and it turned into a long ball to Maeda from there. We needed to prepare to receive the ball a little faster. I had told the players that, but I feel like their heads were heavier than their bodies.
The timing of the conceded goals was taken early in the second half, which led to an open game. It could have been a game where we conceded the third and fourth goals, but we were helped by the opponent's mistakes and Lin did a good job of holding on without conceding.
However, I think that not being able to score in the first half affected the team's morale. We were able to create space for Utaka to receive the ball, but our final precision was lacking. We have to accept today's loss and move on to prepare for the next game.

"Q&A"
(What was the reason for completely losing the pace after conceding a goal in the second half?)
"There are various reasons, but one is that the timing of our approach was off. The front line pressed, but the back players couldn't follow. The main reason was that while trying to eliminate the opponent's midfield, our forwards were unable to press their center backs."

(Today, it seemed like the players were constantly playing under pressure from the opponent?)
"When the ball was passed from the CB to the SB, there were many instances where the opponent's player would come to approach, but instead of facing forward, the CB would pass it back. This would result in the opponent's FW pressing again and either losing the ball or having to pass it back to the GK too often."
Rather than feeling pressure, I think the problem was that I wasn't thinking ahead when preparing to receive the ball, and that the defensive midfielder didn't create a situation where they could support me on the side. That's a team issue. I wonder if they felt pressure from playing defensively.

"Summary of Kashiwa Takahiro Shimotaira's Press Conference"
"We entered the game after telling the players that we must beat FC Tokyo, who is one rank above us."
Leading 2-0, the inability to score additional points was the factor that caused chaos at the end. I realized that in order to become a strong team that can finish the game by firmly scoring the third and fourth points, we cannot see the top.
However, I am satisfied because we were able to follow the game plan and play a soccer that could control the backbone of FC Tokyo. Thanks to the fact that the players were able to react to the second ball without fail for 90 minutes, even when the opponent kicked a long ball, we were able to achieve this result, so I am grateful to the players. "

"Q&A"
(What did you think about the way the game progressed after the 20th minute of the second half?)
"FC Tokyo has been increasing their attacking power, so we tried to receive it firmly and create chances on the counter. We were able to create chances, but I wanted us to finish those chances."

(Do you feel the growth of young players by being able to win against top teams?)
"I think I have grown by experiencing various things. However, today we were able to respond well to the individual abilities of FC Tokyo as a team. I think that was good today, regardless of whether they were young or veteran players."
