[Player and Coach Comments]
Masayuki YAMADA
We managed to keep a clean sheet at the back, but if the forwards had better finishing accuracy and scored from set pieces, it would have been a match we could have won. I want to make a solid transition and prepare well for the next game.
(How do you feel personally?)
I believe that what I am aiming for is the level of J1, and I have to compete against players from top teams.
In J3, I believe I must always maintain a clean sheet while also making my presence felt, so I want to always be prepared to deliver performances like today's as a minimum.
(What is your determination for the next match?)
Of course, the DF line will continue to keep a clean sheet. As a team, we want to work hard to score goals and ensure we can win away matches.
Thank you for your continued support.
《Koki HASEGAWA》
Since Iwate Grulla Morioka played in a 3-4-3 formation, we as the DF line aimed to slide quickly and clearly identify who would mark which opponent.
When we were able to do that, we were able to respond well from the back, but when we couldn't, it sometimes led to a crisis.
As a result, I view the fact that I was able to keep a clean sheet positively.
Even during the difficult times in the second half, I believe that communicating well with players like Yamada, pushing up the line, and being able to play contributed to not conceding any goals.
I believe that playing with my body in front of the goal is one of my characteristics, so I want to continue doing that in the future.
In terms of offense, we haven't been able to score from build-up play, so I feel that connecting well from the DF line and creating chances is a challenge for us moving forward.
(What are your personal impressions and challenges?)
When I first participated, I couldn't keep up with the opponent's speed, but as I played more matches, I feel that I am gradually able to keep up.
There are times when I lose when competing against physically strong players or taller players, so I want to work hard every day to be able to win.
(What are your thoughts heading into the next match?)
I will prioritize keeping a clean sheet in the next game and I absolutely want to win.
Summary of Coach Tadashi NAKAMURA's Press Conference
"First of all, I would like to thank you for being able to play the match in a wonderful ground environment."
We are truly grateful to many fans and supporters for coming from far away and cheering for us.
While we have been struggling to secure wins, today we will not concede any goals.
We focused on building up our attack and finishing during training for a week, but in the end, we couldn't score and the match ended in a 0-0 draw.
I think the number of times we entered the penalty area exceeded that of the previous and the one before that, but this match made me realize that we still lack the ability to finish, the number of times we take shots, and the awareness and accuracy to go for loose balls.
Among them, the players fought well until the end in the heat, so I think that part can be evaluated.
