[Player/Coach Comments]
"Masayuki YAMADA"
"Although we were able to hold the back without conceding any goals, it was a game that we could have won if our front line players had better finishing accuracy and scored from set plays. Therefore, we want to make a good preparation for the next game by switching firmly."
(How do you feel about your personal performance?)
I am aiming for the level of J1 and I think I have to compete against players from top teams.
In J3, I always have to keep a clean sheet and also make my presence known, so I want to always be prepared to deliver at least the performance like today.
(What is your enthusiasm for the next game?)
Of course, the DF will continue to hold the opponent scoreless. And as a team, we will do our best to score and win away games.
Thank you for your continued support.
"Koki HASEGAWA"
"Since Grulla Morioka was in a 3-4-3 formation, we tried to slide quickly as a DF unit and make sure to clearly mark which opponent each player was responsible for."
When we were able to do it, we were able to respond firmly from behind, but when we were not able to do it, it sometimes led to a pinch.
I see it as a positive that we were able to hold them scoreless.
During the second half, amidst a difficult time, I think we were able to keep a clean sheet by raising our line and communicating with Yamada and the other players.
I think that putting my body on the line in front of the goal is one of my defining characteristics, so I want to continue doing it in the future.
In terms of attack, we have not been able to score from build-up, so it is important to connect from the DF line and create chances, which is our future challenge.
(How do you feel about your personal performance and challenges?)
When I first played, I couldn't keep up with the opponent's speed, but as I played more games, I gradually feel like I am able to keep up with them.
I want to continue to work hard every day so that I can win when competing against physically strong players or players with a high height.
(What is your enthusiasm for the next game?)
I will focus on keeping a clean sheet in the next game and definitely aim for a win.」
"Summary of Coach Tadashi NAKAMURA's Press Conference"
"First of all, I would like to thank you for being able to play the game in a wonderful ground environment."
We are truly grateful for the many fans and supporters who have come from far away to support us.
Despite a series of tough games, today we managed to not concede any points.
We trained for a week with a strong focus on building up our attack and finishing, but in the end, we were unable to score and the match ended in a 0-0 draw.
I think the number of times we entered the penalty area was higher compared to the previous and previous rounds, but it was a game where I felt that there was still a lack of power to actually decide and take the ball to the goal, as well as the awareness and accuracy to aim for loose balls.
I think that part can be evaluated because the players fought well until the end in the heat.
