[Player and Coach Comments]
《Takuji YONEMOTO》
(What are your thoughts on playing 90 minutes as a starter for the first time in a while?)
"First of all, I'm relieved that I was able to finish without getting injured."
(Were there any concerns about your physical condition?)
"I had concerns. However, the bench members were well prepared, and I thought I would go as far as I could and substitute when my legs cramped up."
(About today's play)
"The difference between J1 and J3 is like one or two gears, and I think it was good that I was able to cope with that effort."
(After the match, the supporters were urging him on)
"I didn't score today, so I want to do it when I do. However, I definitely didn't want to lose in the match I played, and since we had lost to Kashiwa in the league, it was good to get the 3 points."
《Ryoichi MAEDA》
(Looking back at the goal scene)
"Yuhei really delivered a great ball, and we made eye contact beforehand, so I think it's thanks to Yuhei."
(In the first half, it seemed a bit difficult as there was no place for the ball to settle in the front line, but how did Maeda feel about it?)
"I thought there were good moments, but I felt that the first half was a bit at the opponent's pace. I believed that if we could endure that, we could bring it into Tokyo's flow."
(What instructions did the coach give you during the substitution?)
"I was told to defend well from the front and to go score goals."
(It was my first goal of the season, but what about that?)
"I'm honestly happy, but right now I have a stronger desire to keep scoring goals."
《Summary of Coach Yoshiyuki SHINODA's Press Conference》
First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to the players and supporters for today's victory. We had lost to Kashiwa in our home league match, so we came here to repay that debt today. I am really glad that we were able to achieve victory away, as promised. In the first half, we struggled quite a bit under the opponent's pressure, but I believed that if we could endure that, our time would surely come, and it unfolded as I expected. Ryoichi MAEDA scored a goal, which really boosted the team's morale, and YoneMoto played selflessly for 90 minutes, allowing the 11 players who supported him to progress the game together. In any case, today's three points were wonderful. Of course, there are many points for reflection, so we want to switch our mindset and prepare together for the next league match.
《Q&A》
Q=You used player Maeda, who is also participating in the league matches, from the middle of the game. Was that something you had considered before the match?
"I hadn't set a time, but I had been considering bringing in Ryoichi MAEDA from the beginning."
Q=Yamamoto played for 90 minutes, but what impact did his performance have on the team?
"I thought he could play for 90 minutes today. There was also a desire to have him on the pitch for the full 90 minutes, even if it meant pushing him a bit. Depending on his performance, the competition for the defensive midfield position will really intensify. It's not just Yonemoto, but Maeda also scored, and I believe that today's victory has added many elements for progress for the current team."
《Kashiwa - Takahiro SHIMOTAIRA's Press Conference Summary》
"As a result, we lost 0-1, and I am filled with a truly disappointing feeling that we couldn't advance in the group. We approached the game with fresh members from the first half, and this does not mean that these members are the B team or second string. I believe they were members who came out in good condition, but because they were such members, I wanted to ensure a solid win that would lead to the next game. We struggled to score, and the defense couldn't hold on and ended up conceding. As I mentioned earlier, I really think this is a disappointing elimination."
《Q&A》
Q=You have been performing well in the league with six consecutive wins, but you faced difficulties in the Levain Cup and ended up being eliminated. What were the factors behind that?
"Of course, we are rotating the members, so I think there is a slight difference in quality and finishing between the members participating in the league matches and those in the Levain Cup. Additionally, the preparation period for the members in the Levain Cup is quite short, so I believe that contributes to the situation as well."
