[Player and Coach Comments]

Masato MORISHIGE
If we don't score when we need to, the game will become more difficult as time goes on.
A match that made me feel that again.
We were able to take the lead from CK, but there were also more set-piece opportunities, including for myself.
We need to think about how to score as a team.
Regarding the conceded goals, I will not reflect on the mistakes.
The player themselves knows this best.
More importantly, the challenge was that despite having many good attacking scenes, we were unable to score additional points.
One shot before the last... The accuracy of the last one or two shots was insufficient.
However, that is what determines the outcome.
We all need to delve into that.

(Regarding 'lack of precision'. Is it a matter of everyone's perception, or simply a technical issue?)
I think today, the technical issue was significant.

《Keigo HIGASHI》
(Was what we gained from the match against Kobe not demonstrated today?)
"When the opponent changes, the flow also changes, so it's hard to say, but today we needed to be more aggressive in both offense and defense.
In a word, I feel like we played a 'lackluster soccer'.
Everyone works hard and plays aggressively in both defense and attack, which is the style we have been working on under Coach Shinoda since last season. I think there were few scenes like that today.
"We need to think more about what we should do, rather than just the win or loss..."

(Did the late first-half goal affect the outcome?)
"When we concede a goal, our current team inevitably 'drops' in performance."
Of course, mistakes that directly lead to conceding goals must be reflected upon and corrected, but mistakes can happen in football.
It is important how we all recover from that. I want to discuss that.

(There are many voices pointing out the lack of combination around, aren't there?)
"With this many members gathered, perhaps 'amazing football' is expected. However, that's not something that can be easily achieved.
I want to firmly establish what needs to be done as the foundation of the team, and on top of that, communicate with everyone, sincerely share our opinions, and listen to each other.

《Summary of Coach Yoshiyuki SHINODA's Press Conference》
"It is very disappointing to earn 1 point at home."
The match started well with an early goal, and I thought we would pick up the pace from there, but we struggled to do so and ended up continuing a stagnant game. I really regret that.
In the second half, after being equalized, we worked on how to enter the game, but conversely, there weren't many scenes where we broke through the opponent's block, and I felt that the goal was far away.
We created a dangerous scene from a counterattack. We wanted to push the opponent's midfield and create more good combinations and scenes where we could make early crosses, but we couldn't create such scenes.
Of course, we wanted to accumulate 3 points, but we want to carefully review this 1 point for the next match.

《Q&A》
Q=What caused the stagnation of the attack?
One issue was that there were many backward plays. We often passed the ball back, which made us feel pressured by Kofu's press, leading us to pass back again.
For example, when Muroya had the ball, his preparation to face forward was slow, and the movement of the players in front of him decreased, resulting in a way of passing the ball that was easy to target but only sporadic.
And after losing the ball, the timing to approach was off, and we had no choice but to fall back.
I feel that we particularly fell into a bad cycle in the first half.

Q=The intention behind bringing Abe in during the second half
"On Nagai's side, there was little movement, and we couldn't create time. We brought Abe in to extend our time once again."

Q=About the differences from the last match against Kobe
"I think there were issues in the build-up phase. It's not just that, but especially in the first half, we lost the ball quickly too often, and there were many instances today where even when we ran, the ball didn't come to us. The situations and opponents are different, but we wanted to move the ball more simply and create opportunities behind the opponent, but we couldn't execute that well."

Summary of the Press Conference of Kofu Coach Tatsuma YOSHIDA
I think it was a tiring match for the supporters, but I believe we were able to create scenes in the stands that were more exciting than usual. Over 2,000 supporters came, and we were able to fight amidst a very loud cheer. Some players were exhausted and cramping, but I think they showed enough determination in their fighting spirit, going for the ball and trying to score goals.
"However, we need to properly regroup after conceding a goal from a set piece."
"In the first set piece just two minutes into the match, if it had been the way we used to play, we would have either conceded another goal or found ourselves in a difficult situation. However, we managed to regroup well in the first half, and I believe that being able to equalize was a significant factor in earning points."
However, during the first half, we were unable to play in the time period when we should have been playing, and even though we managed to move the ball to a high position, we ended up waiting for help. We corrected those issues and entered the second half. In the second half, there were some tense moments, but we did not give up against Tokyo until the very end and kept attacking. I hope that Wilson can pursue the fitness needed to finish that chance at that moment.
I believe that both the players and I should not take for granted the opportunity to play in such stadiums today, where we always receive warm and enthusiastic support. We must always maintain a good attitude and show a strong fight. With the Levain Cup coming up and a series of matches ahead, I want to address some of the challenges we faced today and continue to show a form that will earn us your support.
I am very frustrated today.

Q&A

Q=Did you feel the same sense of achievement that you gained from the Hiroshima match in this game as well?
"Today I was able to attempt what I couldn't do in the Hiroshima match. In terms of the balance between the risks and challenges that arise from attempting, I observed a mindset of prioritizing the challenge without considering the balance first. After that, I want to continuously improve my accuracy."

Q=About the first-time starter, Koide player
"His sense of positioning against opponents and his movements to draw the ball were evident. The energy, aggressiveness, and dedication he brought may have provided a fresh breeze in this club, where many veteran players are active."

What was the intention behind using player Shimakawa?
"I thought we could have our own time and pace by using him in the position he was in. I didn't think the space behind would appear in the second half, so I used him not for a long ball from Hyodo to the back, but rather to ease the pressure on our center backs from the midfield players Yu OKUBO and Maeda as much as possible."
