[Player/Coach Comments]
"Takuji YONEMOTO"
"It's disappointing that we couldn't win, but I think it's important for us to focus on winning no matter what kind of team we have."
I am very frustrated that I couldn't win.
(How do you feel about your individual performance?)
I couldn't produce results within the given time, and I have a strong desire to focus more on results and play.
I wanted to contribute somehow because the U-18 players were working so hard, but unfortunately I couldn't do it.
(How is your condition?)
I haven't been injured, so I think it's good.
(What is your enthusiasm for the next game?)
As with every game, I hope to be able to maintain a body that can play for 90 minutes without getting injured through practice and preparation.}
"Koki HASEGAWA"
"We knew beforehand that they were a strong opponent, but they were a team we couldn't afford to lose to. It was a shame that we conceded a goal from a set piece in the early stages."
The opponent's two top players were very strong, but I think we were able to make good adjustments as we played together as a center back duo and communicated with Sakaguchi. There were a few scenes where we were beaten, but I believe we were able to gradually improve our response.
Kajiyama and Yonemoto, who are overage players, are playing as defensive midfielders. They bring something special to the team and their presence has been a great source of motivation for me to play my best.
(How did you feel about your performance?)
In the first set play, my clearance was a little weak and I ended up getting shot on.
I realized that I need to make each clearance and support behind the scenes clear.
It was good to be able to score with my set plays, which are my strengths, but it's frustrating that I couldn't fully utilize my strengths in the passing aspect of the attack in the 0-2 situation.
(What was the scoring scene?)
I was very frustrated when my shot was blocked by the opposing GK during a free shot from a set play that I had taken.
I entered the goal area with the thought of "I'll score it myself" during the corner kick scene.
I was able to successfully remove the mark, so all that was left was to pour it in.
I was encouraged by being able to score with my own characteristic set plays.
(In J3, I often formed a partnership with a professional center back)
When there were top team players around me, I relied on my teammates and played with my own characteristics in mind.
However, today I played with a sense of responsibility while thinking that I had to be the center of attention.
(What is your enthusiasm for the next game?)
Since we lost this time, I definitely want to win next time.
"I also want to win without conceding a goal, so I will shout from behind and aim for a victory without conceding a goal."
"Summary of Coach Tadashi NAKAMURA's Press Conference"
"Despite the intense heat, we were able to enter the game with a strong determination to secure 3 points, thanks to the support of over 2,000 fans and supporters."
Unfortunately, we conceded a goal early on from the opponent's weapon, set pieces, which made it difficult for us to execute our game plan.
As time passed, Kajiyama and Yonemoto were able to create a game, and we had several chances in the first half.
We regrouped during halftime and focused on attacking from crosses.
In the second half, we were able to create chances as planned and everyone went towards the goal several times.
However, the second goal was really painful, and even though we were able to score one point afterwards, the players fought until the end to aim for 3 points.
What I told the players after the match was about the one-on-one situations, winning back the ball, and competing for the ball, especially for the young players.
In addition, we also discussed reactions and predictions. Since our play accuracy is still lacking, we need to practice in order to be able to win against teams like this, both as individuals and as a team. "
