[Player and Coach Comments]

《Hyun Soo JANG》
(What are your thoughts on playing in the FC Tokyo uniform after a long time?)
"Today, I was able to play in the same uniform as my teammates and achieve victory, making it an unforgettable day. I am also really happy that we could deliver a win to our fans and supporters."

(What about the collaboration aspect?)
"Due to injuries and other factors, I couldn't participate in many matches, but I watched the games from the outside and imagined my own play. I think it was good that today I was able to embody that play image myself."

(How is the collaboration between Maruyama and Yoshimoto?)
"I can't say anything specific without reviewing the footage, but I think it's a big step for the team that not just those two, but everyone fought desperately and ran desperately to achieve victory as a team."

《Ryoichi MAEDA》
(This season, it was the first goal in the league)
"Of course I'm happy, but the most important thing is that the team won."

(It was my first start in a while, but how did I perform throughout the match?)
"If I had to be greedy, I would have liked to score one more goal. There are various issues in my play, but I think the most important thing is that we were able to win today."

(Looking back at the goal scene)
"I think it was a lucky goal that hit the target."

(I think it's impressive that they have such a keen sense to take position there)
"Kosuke's ball was really good, and I think it's thanks to Kazu for doing a great job of disrupting the play."

(Will today's victory be a turning point?)
"We have to make this a turning point. I want to continue to appeal in practice for the next match so that I can start."

《Summary of Coach Yoshiyuki SHINODA's Press Conference》
The players have truly been patient and have shown what they have trained for. Of course, there were good moments and bad moments, but everyone was able to seize these 3 points.
It will be a series of matches, but I want to prepare my condition properly and do my best to deliver a victory to the fans and supporters at home.

《Q&A》
Q=There was a moment during the match when the players' positions were swapped, and I felt that Omiya took a shape where four players were positioned at the front, from which various players fluidly dropped back or made diagonal runs into the open spaces, and I think we managed to respond well. However, we need to reflect on the fact that we allowed them to create scoring opportunities in the second half.
In terms of line control, Hyun Soo JANG was very good, and we were able to showcase what we have been training, such as Maruyama's build-up and Yoshimoto's ability to rebound. However, it is a fact that there are times when we can and cannot play with the right distance from each other, like in the scene where Kosuke OTA almost got left behind by Okui in the first half, so we need to tighten that up more. Regarding defense, it wasn't just the three at the back or the wide players Muroya and OTA, but the entire team moved selflessly, so I want to continue doing this.

"Finally, it's a celebratory day as Maeda has played his 400th match in J1. We won after a long time, and we will do our best at home again."

Summary of the Press Conference by Omiya Coach Akira ITO
First of all, I am very disappointed that many fans and supporters came to cheer for us during the weekday night game, but we could not deliver a victory. I truly apologize for that. At first, we built a good flow with power, but after conceding a goal from a set piece in the midfield, we communicated to the players the importance of maintaining control. In the second half, we aimed to apply some power, take the initiative, and control the game while targeting goals. It was great that we managed to score, but the time until we conceded the next goal showed our immaturity. I keep saying similar things every time, but I believe we need to improve in that area. This is partly due to my instructions and partly due to the players' mindset. We were caught off guard in a situation where we needed to take care of the newly joined Yu OKUBO. I felt that if we do not improve properly, we will not accumulate points. I want to adjust properly for the next game without looking down.

《Q&A》
Q=What are the factors that led to conceding a goal after scoring, even though the defense was working well in a [4-4-2] formation?
"I think one issue is that the players are scoring, which boosts their motivation, but they end up using their energy in attack and then have to return without being able to manage their power. I felt that in order to control the game in such situations, the key players on the pitch need to communicate and work together; otherwise, it becomes difficult to maintain the flow. I believe we need to continue to challenge ourselves in the next phase."
