[Player and Coach Comments]

《Takuo OKUBO》
(The kickoff was delayed by an hour due to bad weather, but what was the impact?)
"For me, it was my first experience, but I think I was able to focus and enter the match well."

(About the moment we conceded a goal after being breached in the center)
"I feel that we allowed the opponent to play too easily. Since Urawa has very high individual abilities, we needed to take care of that, and I think we should reflect on the fact that we couldn't catch the players making runs from the second line."

(What was your impression of the match at Saitama.S Stadium?)
"I think I was able to enter the match without being too conscious of it being an away game. Besides the scenes we created, we also allowed the opponent to create chances.
We need to think about preventing problems before they arise, and that is a challenge for the future, so we want to make sure to correct it properly.

Kento HASHIMOTO
(Reflecting on today's match)
"The match started late, making it difficult to concentrate, but I was able to get into the game well. Of course, I am very disappointed that we couldn't win, but I think we were able to play a good game."

(What is your impression of Urawa?)
"I felt that the quality of the forwards was high, and we allowed them space which led to conceding a goal, so that is something we need to reflect on."

(Regarding my own goals)
"I am always aiming to score, and recently I haven't been able to find the back of the net, so I'm glad I was able to score today. However, I want to score goals that contribute to our victory from now on."

Summary of the Press Conference by Yoshiyuki SHINODA
"In this bad weather, many fans and supporters came to the away ground, and I feel very disappointed that we couldn't show a victory, mixed with both regret and reflection. The players worked very hard, but we must reflect on the first half's goals, particularly our response to the one-two play and the scene where we allowed a shot with the middle open. It was good that we managed to equalize afterward, but the second goal we conceded and our own second and third goals are indeed challenges we face. Even if we create many scoring opportunities, we won't win unless we score more goals than the opponent. In any case, we saw both good and bad moments. The players are currently working positively, so while we want to firmly build on the good aspects, we also want everyone to work on improving our defense."

《Q&A》
Q=1 hour kickoff was delayed, but was there any impact?
"Of course, I think both teams were under the same conditions, and there may have been some parts that were difficult to sort out emotionally, but the players didn't seem to mind it too much."

Q=I think there was an option to put Tokunaga in that position due to Muroya's injury and take Yoshimoto out, but was there any hesitation about that substitution?
"I considered the option of moving Hashimoto to the right, but I wanted to utilize (Kensuke) NAGAI's speed, and since we were in a losing situation, I boldly brought in NAGAI. Towards the end, I moved NAGAI to the center and put (Kento) HASHIMOTO on the right. Since Tokunaga was showing a good performance at the back, I decided it would be better to use him in the middle rather than moving him outside."

《Urawa - Summary of the Press Conference by Takafumi HORI, Coach》
"Usually, we have time to hold the ball in the first half, but today we allowed the opponent to have the ball for a longer time from the beginning. However, the players showed great perseverance. I want to thank the players. The fact that we were able to win by showing our resilience at the end should contribute to the players' confidence moving forward. In that regard, I feel we need to hold the ball a bit more in the attacking phase. Nevertheless, I am grateful to the players for fighting hard and showing perseverance until the very end."

《Q&A》
Q=What was the intention behind bringing in player Yajima as the third substitution?
"Just like in the recent match against Kofu, we didn't have much time to control the ball. When he received the ball, he was able to calmly create attacking opportunities. It's not always about pushing forward; he excels at controlling those moments. I thought that when there was a chance in the attack, he had the ability to deliver a decisive play, which is why I brought in Yajima."

Do you think that FC Tokyo's first goal and Urawa's second goal were such wonderful goals that you might not see them in a single season?
Regarding the goals conceded, we created a situation where we couldn't approach the ball as the opponent held possession, and they targeted our back, creating such a free situation. I believe this was the attack that FC Tokyo intended.
Regarding the scoring, this week, I told the players to bring out the attacking aspects based on the previous game's performance, and I believe the players delivered on that, resulting in this outcome.
