[Player and Coach Comments]

《Yojiro TAKAHAGI》
Under Coach Anma, we aimed for ball possession and tried to fight with a shared awareness among everyone.
I have a sense that I can do it, that it's not impossible for me...
The level of completion may still be low, but it's important to play with confidence.
Even if you make a mistake, you can make up for it. Everyone had the mindset to go and take it back.

They were also aware of fluidly changing positions, receiving the ball in between, and each moving into the open spaces.
When the ball was taken away, it was also required to switch quickly afterwards.

(What did you think about suddenly changing your style?)
The individual abilities of the players in Tokyo are high.
So if we clarify that 'this is the way to do it!', everyone can put their strength in the same direction.
I felt that way, so I had no anxiety.

(It seems there were many back passes?)
There were still parts that were tentative, and there may have been moments that didn't go well.
Even so, everyone was able to approach it with the same mindset, accepting that it was okay to pass it back to the GK.
I don't think it was bad in that regard.

Additionally, there were some adjustments made to counter Sendai's style of play during halftime.
In the second half, we thought the opponent's press would settle down, so we aimed to play more vertical passes to the front line.
Instead of dropping back to build up, I tried to get forward as much as possible.

In the final stages, we were unable to go for the ball defensively, leaving some issues, but overall, we were able to maintain our spacing and repeatedly move up and down.

There is some sense of achievement, but if the opponent is different, the pressure may be tougher, and the quality of the attack could be even higher.
The development will likely change depending on the game.
I want to move forward so that we can win with this fighting style, this approach.

《Hyun Soo JANG》
"(Regarding the goal)
It was a satisfying goal. That's all I can say (laughs)."

I am better at heading the ball by coming forward rather than staying back.
I have always thought that if the timing is right, I can score.
We were talking about aiming for the near post, and there, Ota sent a good ball.

There were many mistakes throughout the match, but I think we were able to express the football we want to play.
For those watching, there may have been moments that left you feeling frustrated, wondering 'Why aren't they attacking more...?' but on the pitch, everyone was unified in their intentions.

Our team is characterized by its offense, and there are many players who want to receive the ball.
In aiming for a soccer style that connects short passes with precise balls, I believe the defense line also emphasized that, being conscious of the timing to make and receive passes.

While I was away from the team representing South Korea, difficult situations continued, and even after returning, I was unable to play due to injury. I felt frustrated that I couldn't contribute to the team, and I thought that I absolutely had to 'do it' today.
I believe that being able to keep a clean sheet is a reflection of that strong determination.

There were mistakes towards the end of the match, but I'm glad we didn't concede any goals (wry smile).
Today, we pressed each other from the front, and both the players in the back and the forwards ran well.
I think mistakes occurred because of that, but it is important to figure out how to correct such mistakes. It feels like we were given a message to fight through with a sense of responsibility.

(To fans and supporters)
I believe that the situation is still tough, and we received boos today.
However, I want to turn that into strength and move forward even more. I hope you will continue to watch over us warmly.

(About "Sha")
It truly felt like 'coming home.'
Being able to move as one with the supporters and do something together is an incredible joy for the players. I was very happy.

《Tokyo - Takayoshi AMMA, Coach》
I am especially grateful to the fans and supporters who rushed to the stadium despite the difficult conditions and supported a team that had not been able to win for a long time.
Since we had been conceding a lot of goals, we first thought about reducing the number of goals conceded. We trained on ways to strengthen our defense, but we also considered returning to our strong points and aimed to reduce goals conceded by increasing our ball possession rate and the number of passes.
By immediately going to reclaim the ball after losing it, we can defend effectively at a high position. It was good to finish today's match without conceding any goals, and we can now look forward and move on to the next challenge.

In the first half, there were moments when we could have moved forward, but we couldn't, so I feel that we need to improve on that. I believe it is a significant achievement that, despite the team having developed a habit of giving up, we were able to play for 90 minutes without giving up on what we needed to do individually and as a team, regardless of the situation.

《Q&A》
Q=It felt like there was little interaction among the three forwards in terms of offense, didn't it?
"When expressed, it becomes a three-top formation, but fundamentally, it's about where to create numerical advantages."
Whether it's Yoshito, Keigo, or Utaka, they are all players who excel at dropping back to the midfield and then moving forward to shake off their markers, so we aimed to utilize that characteristic.
In the first half, we were able to keep possession of the ball, but I think the reason we couldn't move forward was that we missed the chance to make vertical passes.
However, as a result of asking them to try again with courage during halftime, the ball started to move forward, so I would like them to continue that.
I want to improve the quality of the finish by repeating it many times.

Q=What guidance is there on the decisive pass?
"Regarding the last pass, I want them to first get into a position where they can make the last pass."
When trying to turn, the opponent presses from the front, and the back line moves up. I wanted Kensuke to target the space behind, but there were still moments when that open space was missed.

《Sendai - Susumu WATANABE, Coach》
"I heard that about 1,500 supporters from Sendai came, even with the typhoon approaching."
I am truly grateful for the incredible support and power you have given me.
I'm frustrated with the match. I wanted to win, and I believe we could have turned it into a winning game.
I think the defense was very well balanced. The way they applied pressure from the front and, when that was broken, held firm and resiliently defended in their own half was very well done.
In the second half, we were unable to pick up second balls until we conceded a goal, so there were ideas such as changing the lineup, but I thought that Tokyo was the one that absolutely wanted to win at home, so I considered making a decision after observing the opponent's moves.
I regret that if we had taken the initiative and acted first, we might have been able to make something happen.
However, we need to create a solid pressing situation afterwards and train to intentionally create chances, including the final accuracy.
Without looking down at today's results, I want to be conscious of moving up at least one position in the remaining 8 matches.

《Q&A》
Q=What about the goal conceded scene?
"Today's match gave the opponent many corner kicks. First, we need to review that aspect.
There are advantages and disadvantages to both zone and man-to-man defense. There are definitely areas where we should not be beaten, and I believe that was one of those places. We need to do more work, such as challenging the opponent who enters that area. However, I think it's not good to be too nervous about that conceded goal.
