[Player/Coach Comments]
"Rei HIRAKAWA"
"In the first half, we were able to play well as a team and move the ball effectively, but in the second half, we kept conceding goals from set pieces and it was very frustrating that we couldn't achieve a victory."
(How was your individual performance?)
I was able to showcase my strengths in terms of moving the ball, but I think it would have been better if I had shown a more aggressive attitude and made more attempts to move forward from there.
(After today's match, I will go to U-17, so I would like to ask for a message to the fans and supporters.)
I have had a very good experience in J3, so I think it is absolutely necessary for our generation to not lose.
I want to express myself without hesitation even against the world.
"Takefusa KUBO"
"As a game, it was always a game where we were chasing, but we were able to create more time to possess the ball and I think we were able to have a good game."
However, we conceded 3 goals from set pieces, and looking at the result alone, the score of 1-4 is not good, so that is regrettable.
(How is your individual performance?)
As an individual, I feel that my performance in J3 has been improving day by day.
Today was not bad either, but I did not achieve results that could be considered good, so I want to always be able to achieve results no matter what condition I am in.
I also think I was able to play in my own way, and I was able to get some gains that will lead to the next match.
(After today's match, I will go to U-17, but I would like to ask the fans and supporters for a message)
I will fight against the world and do my best to bring back a result that will make FC Tokyo fans and supporters happy.
"Summary of Coach Tadashi NAKAMURA's Press Conference"
"We would like to first express our gratitude to the fans and supporters who came all the way to Tochigi for the J1 match."
We would also like to express our gratitude for the atmosphere of the game venue that helps to uplift the players' spirits.
I think the game was very tight.
Now, in terms of holding the ball firmly, which we have just started, there are many young players, but I think we were able to try to receive and move the ball with confidence.
However, I think we need to increase the number of times we connect to the finish, and we also need to improve our accuracy.
The flow of the game was not bad, but I feel that the team's weakness was exposed when we conceded 3 goals in the second half through set pieces.
"Especially with a significant change in the lineup from the previous match, young players are still competing for the first defender position and have better reactions and pressure on second balls compared to Tochigi, so I think one of the challenges is that we have repeated the same mistakes. Therefore, we would like to work positively on these challenges in the future."
