[Player and Coach Comments]
《Go HATANO》
"I'm really glad that I was able to play in a match after a long time and win 1-0."
(What kind of preparations have you made before today's match?)
I spent a lot of time feeling extremely frustrated. There were nights when I couldn't sleep.
However, I didn't show my frustration to my teammates and I think the result of practicing diligently while being aware of various things led to today's victory and clean sheet.
I want to continue practicing diligently and do my best in the future.
(How was your own play?)
There were parts where I defended well, and there were also good moments, but there were also times I hesitated.
I want to practice more to move more smoothly in that area and to grow further.
(What are your aspirations for the next match?)
I want to secure consecutive wins in Okinawa and return with a smile.
Thank you for your continued support.
《Lipe VELOSO》
"Today's match was very good, and I feel that we have built up very well over these past few matches. I think we are able to play in a good flow."
(What about the goal scene?)
I received a very good pass from Kobayashi and was able to calmly score. I think both the pass and the goal were very good scenes.
(The level of physical activity has increased, but how has your condition been since arriving in Japan?)
When I first arrived in Japan, my condition wasn't good, and I had a hard time adapting to Japanese football.
However, I want to be able to play with both quality and quantity for 90 minutes today, as I have been gradually improving.
Today's game ended very well, so I want to build up good practice for the weekend's match starting tomorrow.
(Message to fans and supporters)
As long as I wear the FC Tokyo uniform, I play with the intention of dedicating myself to the club, and I also want to give my all for the fans and supporters.
I have not been in Japan for long, but I truly care about all of you and love you, so I want to continue fighting with this feeling in mind from now on.
Summary of Coach Tadashi NAKAMURA's Press Conference
"It was a match in unfortunate rain, but thanks to the wonderful pitch conditions and the fans and supporters who came out to cheer us on despite it being a weekday, I believe we had a very rewarding start."
Regarding the game content, we were able to move the ball very carefully in the first half, but there were still some timing and technical mistakes in the breakthrough part, and we lost the ball poorly, which led to several counterattacks that put us in danger, so we made corrections and approached the second half.
In the second half, I think it was very good that we created chances from several very good combinations, which led to goals.
However, there were moments where mistakes in the finer details and the way we lost the ball led to counterattacks, and there were situations where it wouldn't have been surprising to concede a goal.
Preparation in defense and greater concentration are necessary; without scoring the second and third goals, we cannot advance the game in our favor.
I told the players that in order to participate in J1 matches, they need to make more of an appeal here.
