[Player and Coach Comments]
《Takahiro YANAGI》
I thought we should try to minimize set pieces since the opponent has many tall players.
However, we gave the opponent many set pieces, but I think it was good that we were able to keep it at zero.
We had many chances to score, so we want to be able to convert those opportunities.
(Was it a start in a different position than usual?)
I played left center-back for the first time this year.
I thought I could do that as well.
I think we were able to see the situation ahead while being aware of vertical passes and as a team, we were also able to put the ball in.
When I moved to wing-back midway through, I thought about actively making plays, and I was able to deliver several crosses.
I want to improve my accuracy so that I can connect it to scoring opportunities.
I think we need to enter the opponent's territory and deliver crosses from a high position.
Once I have the ball, I want to be more aggressive, evade my opponent, and be able to deliver a solid cross while being free.
(What is your enthusiasm for the remaining 2 matches?)
As a team, we have been in a good flow in the second half of the league, so we want to win the next match and head towards the final match.
《Yoshitake SUZUKI》
"It was good that everyone communicated in defense and we were able to contain the opponent's set plays."
However, I think the inability to capitalize on the many chances we had is a challenge.
(What aspects need improvement?)
My position is a defensive midfielder, so I believe I can create chances by passing the ball and making forward runs, as well as by adding more players to the attack.
Today, I was able to step forward in that way several times, but I would like to increase such opportunities.
(What is your enthusiasm for the next match?)
I want to focus on keeping a clean sheet in defense and to initiate attacks in various ways, while also participating in the offense myself.
Summary of Coach Tadashi NAKAMURA's Press Conference
I would like to express my gratitude to the many fans and supporters who came.
The disappointing thing was that we couldn't show the goal.
Today, despite the opponent having height, our defense kept them at zero, so it was a match where we absolutely had to score a goal.
The attacking players were very active, preparing to receive the ball, making good crosses, good vertical passes, and creating chances through good combinations, but they were unable to finish.
In the last few matches, I think the duration of our attacking phases has gradually increased, and the number of times we reach the finish has also risen. However, considering the aspect of winning and losing, I believe we still lack the ability to secure victories.
