[Player/Coach Comments]
"Masayuki YAMADA"
(About the goal)
"We had coordinated with player Ota since the previous day's tactical practice, and we also discussed points before the game, so it was just as we had hoped."
(Was it a confident pattern?)
"Scoring with set plays is also one of my strengths, so if a good ball comes in, I have confidence that I can win the battle. I'm glad I was able to show that today."
(Did your teammates say anything to you?)
"Yes, they did. However, in the end we lost so I wanted to score a goal that would lead to a win. As a defender, I let in 2 goals which is not my usual role, so I want to accept that reality and reflect on it properly."
(Did the weight of goals differ between J1 and J3?)
"If I were to say, there were many set pieces, so I think we could have scored more. I think it was good that we were able to score, but it's a shame we couldn't turn it into a win."
(What did you feel playing in the defense?)
"There were many strong players on the opposing team, so I was thinking about how to respond while playing. Personally, I have confidence that I can become a key player for this team if I can gain more experience, so I want to challenge myself more and use today's reflection to improve for the next game."
"Takefusa KUBO"
(What is your honest impression of your J1 debut?)
"I was able to enter the flow of the pitch without any tension. It was a situation where we were trailing by one goal, so I wanted to catch up somehow."
(Looking back on my own play)
"I made my J3 debut in November last year, and there were some moments when I became tense. However, today I was able to play without any nerves because I had been practicing together. I think I was able to play better today."
(The coach instructed to "receive a lot of balls and create a rhythm", but what about that point?)
"I think the coach is expecting more from us. If we can continue to play the way the coach wants, it will be good."
(Did you feel any difference between the Levain Cup and J3?)
"When it was the Levain Cup, I felt the difference between home and away, but I didn't feel anything else in particular."
(Looking back on the close scene at the end)
"I was imagining kicking from between the legs to the far side, creating a situation where the opponent's defense would come in, but the course shifted and went straight to the GK. It was a very frustrating scene because if it had gone as planned, I think it might have worked. Not being able to shoot where I aimed is due to lack of practice, so I want to practice more when I get back."
(How do you want to connect this appearance to the future?)
"I think if I don't grow more, I will have more substitute appearances based on my overall ability right now. In that sense, I have grasped something, so I want to consistently be involved in games without losing this feeling."
"Tokyo - Takayoshi Amma Coach's Press Conference Summary"
"I am grateful to all the fans and supporters who came to support us in Hiroshima."
The match was a game where Hiroshima was expected to come out with a strong fight for their survival. In response, we were also calmly progressing the game, but giving up a goal right before the end of the first half is our current challenge. However, we were able to equalize without losing our concentration and repeatedly challenged aggressively, which I feel will lead to future success. Yama (Masayuki YAMADA), who has gained experience in J3 matches, scored a goal and Take (Takefusa KUBO) also made an appearance, showing new aspects. We were also able to create a good shape in the Tosu match. We have also been able to create scoring opportunities in today's match, so we will prepare well and show our fans and supporters a winning performance at home in Ajinomoto Stadium."
"Q&A"
Q=What is the evaluation of Kubo's first appearance in J1 today?
"Since there were mistakes in the midfield and the ball couldn't settle down, the first thing I asked of him was to get involved with the ball a lot. After he was subbed in, he was able to carry the ball forward from his position and create space, so I think he did what I asked of him. He also did a great job of dribbling and making plays that were uncomfortable for the opponent, which was a plus. I think he can continue to do well."
"However, if the situation is good, I think I can be more active, so I feel the need to show my intentions to him in order to gain more trust from those around me and be able to receive the ball when I want."
"Hiroshima - Manager Yoon Jong-Son's Press Conference Summary"
"In the first 5-10 minutes of the game, the team was being too cautious. However, we gradually regained our own play and in the end, I think we were able to play good soccer."
There were several points to be corrected from the Kobe game, but the team was able to train well and defend well. We were able to finish the game today with only one goal conceded from a set piece. In terms of attack, we were able to continue the good flow from the Kobe game, and Inagaki also did well. In the scene of the second goal, Takahashi and Felipe Silva worked hard and I think it led to Inagaki's goal.
This team is amazing. It is all thanks to the spirit of Hiroshima. The team fights together because of that spirit. Today, the players who wore the uniform and those who didn't, the staff, and the supporters all fought together as one. The result was truly amazing."
Q=Did you accomplish one job by deciding to stay in J1?
"Everyone felt pressure and fought. That's why I'm happy with this result. You don't know until you fight in soccer. I didn't know what would happen today either. But in order to win, we needed to play good soccer. It was my first league game as a coach, and we created many great chances, but we lost because we let in a long shot from the opponent's Tosu. Even though our performance was good, we couldn't get the result we wanted. But because we continued to play good soccer, it led to results."
