[Player and Coach Comments]
Takefusa KUBO
(How did you feel about the free kick situation?)
"I was able to kick towards the target I aimed for, but it hit the wall. I hope to think of a different way to kick from practice."
(How did it feel to play the full match?)
"There were some tough moments during the match, but I think it was good that we were able to create a good shape ourselves."
(What differences did you feel playing in J1 and J3?)
"I played at this stadium once during J3, but today was a night game, so there was a difference in the scenery. I felt the taiko drum resonating when it got quiet around me."
(Were you aiming for a long shot?)
"We talked about trying to aim for it from the first half. However, in the first half, when I received the ball in a good position, I wasn't able to lift my head, so I couldn't aim for it. Therefore, I was thinking of aiming for it with the first shot in the second half."
Kento HASHIMOTO
(There was a close scene at the start)
"The way we entered the match was really good, and we were able to create several scoring opportunities. Personally, I had about two clear chances, so I felt that I need to improve my ability to finish those chances."
(It was a match that I approached as captain)
"More than anything, I wanted results today. As a team, we were able to come together for the match. I believe everyone was able to feel the challenges we faced today and what we need to improve to help the team win, so I think we can only enhance that through our daily training.
In order to have good competition, the substitute players need to raise their level more, and as individuals, they must also make their presence felt.
Summary of the press conference by Kenta HASEGAWA, Tokyo's coach
"Losing is truly frustrating. However, the players showed a passionate fight. There have been moments in the last few matches where we haven't been able to close the gap, but I believe they displayed a very intense game until the end. Many fans and supporters came to the stadium, and I think the players fought with the desire to somehow score a goal and achieve victory. However, it's clear that as a team, we are lacking in the final parts, including the league matches. I want to improve the accuracy of our last passes and shots through training."
《Q&A》
Q=Did you start Kubo as a starter?
"Today, he played very aggressively. In the end, he got tired and made many mistakes, but until then, he showed a fighting spirit for the team's victory. I think Takefusa was absolutely wonderful today."
Summary of the press conference by Yokohama FM's Ange POSTECOGLOU
"Both we and FC Tokyo changed several members for the match. Given that situation, we anticipated it would be a difficult game. It was indeed a challenging match, and there were few moments when we could control the game as we wanted."
《Q&A》
Q=Today's victory must be significant in terms of confidence, right?
"That's right. However, what is important is whether we are able to play our own style of football within what we are doing, focusing on our performance. In that regard, we weren't able to control the game as much in today's match."
