[Player/Coach Comments]
《Kento HASHIMOTO》
(Looking back on today's match)
"It was a difficult match, but I think we were able to keep a clean sheet because we had a strong defensive mindset going into the game. It's frustrating that we couldn't score, but I think it was a valuable 1 point win."
(What did you focus on during the time when you couldn't create a rhythm in your attack and had to be patient?)
"We were all focused on quickly transitioning after losing the ball. By doing so, we were able to limit Kobe's counterattacks."
'We were able to play with the awareness of 'defense first'. I think we were able to unify the team's defensive consciousness.'
(Next match, towards the Kawasaki game)
"It's a top match, and I think the opponent will come with momentum. There isn't much time with consecutive games, but I want to prepare well. I think a lot of fans and supporters will come, so I want to have a good game and win."
"Yuichi MARUYAMA"
(The result was a 0-0 draw. Looking back on the game)
"It was a close game, and with many spectators in attendance, it was difficult to hear the players' voices. I want to take the positive aspect of being able to secure at least 1 point away. It would have been great to score and win from a set piece, but I want to continue playing solidly and carry this 1 point forward in the future."
(First clean sheet in a while)
"We had a lot of time where the opponent had the ball, but I think it was because all the players were able to play with their bodies without getting frustrated that we were able to keep a clean sheet today. I think we were able to fight together and take one point."
(I've had a series of matches against tall players. What did you feel as a defender?)
"We didn't win every situation, but we tried to increase our winning percentage in each situation. The players we faced were all very talented, so I want to use this experience in the next match."
"Summary of Tokyo - Kenta HASEGAWA Coach's Press Conference"
"I think even one point today is good. Every team is facing a tight schedule, but the players are more fatigued from consecutive games than I expected. In that situation, I see it as a very positive thing to be able to patiently fight and bring one point back to Tokyo from an away game. It's been a while since our defense has been able to hold up well and protect us.
If possible, we had a lot of set pieces, so if we can score from those in this type of game, it will make a difference. That is something we will work on as a future challenge."
"Q&A"
Q=17 points and a strong attack against Kobe, how did you manage to keep a clean sheet? What was the key factor?
"In the previous match, there was Joe (Nagoya) and he scored a goal from a very high heading. In today's match, I think the defense line was solid and they were able to challenge and cover well. Wellington is also a very strong player and he was able to put in some dangerous balls, but Maru (Maruyama) responded well. Morishige also stayed focused and responded until the end."
"Summary of Kobe Takayuki Yoshida's Press Conference"
"There were good plays and bad plays throughout the game.
To a certain extent, we were able to counterattack against the opponent's strong defense and quick attacks when we had the ball, but in the end, I think everyone did a great job of putting their bodies on the line.
As for our own attacks, I think we were able to avoid the opponent's press to a certain extent. However, we lacked the intensity in the attacking third in the last three minutes today.
We need to show more of a desire to score in the area and put crosses in more dangerous areas.
We were lacking in those types of plays."
