[Player/Coach Comments]
"Kosuke OTA"
"(About FK)
I'm so happy to be able to score (laughs)."
However, what's even more exciting is... today, even though we knew we would be dominated by Yokohama FM, we were able to score from counterattacks and the timing was also good.
I think even when Toh player scored, about four people went into the center and threatened the opponent.
And I'm really happy that (Okazaki) Mako scored for us.
However, we must not be satisfied with this result.
I want to firmly tighten my focus and prepare for the next game.
"I'm tired, it's tough, but I want to prepare with a strong mindset and confidence to continue winning."
"Yojiro TAKAHAGI"
"Everyone was working hard in this heat. What was the reason for that?
...I think it was because of our determination."
Of course, that is what is required and the player who can do it can stand on the pitch.
I feel that understanding what everyone needs to do leads to good competition.
(Playing in the front line for the past two games?)
I believe I understand what I need to do.
However, I want to be more involved in scoring goals on the attacking side.
Today, we were able to utilize the attacking power of players such as Higashi and Tanabe to enter the goal area.
While fighting tenaciously, we were able to make bold moves when the opportunity arose.
And even after taking the lead, we tried to score another one or two points.
'Rather than trying to hold on and defend, we believe that aiming for additional points will help us overcome the challenges of the summer season.'
(Has the gap with the top narrowed?)
Each game is important, and I believe it is necessary to continue putting pressure on Hiroshima.
"Summary of Tokyo's Manager Kenta HASEGAWA's Press Conference"
"I think it was good that we scored a lot of goals. A total of 7 goals between both teams. I think the viewers enjoyed it. The players also seemed to know that, and in the end, we gave away 2 goals to the opponent, and Nagai even tried to put himself in the goal net instead of the ball (laughs). However, Marinos, who scored 8 goals in the previous match, are in good form as a team. So it was good that we were able to win at home. We want to continue accumulating points in the future."
"Q&A"
Q=We were able to win with a different team composition from the first half of the season. Has the team's depth increased?
"Last week's win was really big. We were able to beat Kashiwa with fresh players and players in different positions. I think the players had a great spirit and it became easier to make substitutions. For example, Yonemoto played really well in the previous match. In today's game, it was important for the midfielder to win the ball against Marinos. Although Nagai is not in top form yet, we don't know what the team situation will be like in the summer, so we want to be able to adapt to any situation."
Q=Did the players' feelings change after changing the members from the Kashiwa game?
"Perhaps the players are feeling the need to seize this opportunity, as injured players are returning. There was an atmosphere of everyone winning together in training, after winning the previous match against Kashiwa. I believed that if we started the match well, we could play our own football today as well."
Q=Diego Oliveira's partner on the front line is Yojiro TAKAHAGI, and a way to bring out Diego Oliveira's talent has been found.
"There are some differences between when Nagai and Diego are the top two. We discussed in the meeting how to make use of Diego. When Takahagi is in the top position, how he moves and how Diego moves will also bring out the best in Takahagi, so I think everyone combined their combinations while doing that."
"Yokohama FM Peter CKLAMOVSKI Head Coach Press Conference Summary"
"I think we were able to control the game well in the beginning, but once the opponent scored a great set piece goal, the game changed and the goal completely changed the game. In the end, by halftime, we were in a very difficult situation, trailing 0-3. However, in the second half, the players never gave up and managed to score 2 goals until the very end. Although we ran out of time, I am proud of the players."
"Q&A"
Q=Do you think the first goal was crucial? While FC Tokyo was defending and aiming for counterattacks, Yokohama FM couldn't produce fast attacks. Was there no way to change that?
"I think there are two things for us, but I think we could have done it a little faster and if we could have made high-quality movements in the back, I think we could have continued to play Marinos' soccer and break down the opponent. However, I think FC Tokyo showed great defense by following the rules and great aspects such as threatening counters."
Q=Are you convinced that Yokohama FM's soccer has improved?
"I think we are improving. However, there are ups and downs along the way, with good times and bad times. The game against Sendai on Wednesday may have been a good one, but today was a tough and not so smooth road. There are no easy roads, but I believe that all the players and staff in the Marinos locker room are doing their best and believing in Marinos' soccer. I also think we are making improvements."
Q=What is the reason for Ange POSTECOGLOU's absence and when is he expected to return?
"I had to go back to Australia due to family circumstances. I hope to return as soon as possible, within a few days."
