[Player and Coach Comments]

《Takuo OKUBO》
"Nagasaki attacked with momentum, targeting the back with two shadows starting from FW Fanma."
Against the two shadows, our defensive midfielders took care, but the players on the sides spread wide, making us heavy overall at the back. We couldn't apply power forward. That's where we need to reflect.

The goals conceded in the second half were indeed a time we needed to endure.
I believed that if we could endure there, a chance would surely come to us.
We conceded a goal there, making the match difficult in terms of time.

Especially Nagasaki is really fighting with all their might.
I can run... or rather, there was a clear distinction between pressing and defending.

If you become passive, this is the kind of result you will get.
We must not forget our attitude as challengers. I believe we must learn from today's defeat.

(Did DF include player Daniwa?)
There was no discomfort even with the change in members.
We talked about making sure to communicate well with each other, and we were able to do that.

(There were many wonderful saves, right?)
I was also helped in many ways. We all defended together, and in the end, it felt like I was the one who stopped it.

《Daiki NIWA》
"I was told I would start yesterday, but I wasn't nervous."
I was rather excited. I was looking forward to fighting with the strong support and cheers from the fans and supporters in Tokyo.

(Masato) Morishige and (Kosuke) OTA played together in the national team, so I wasn't worried.

Communication is essential as a defense, so we tried to be aware of that and discuss with each other.
I think it has become smoother over time, and gradually I was able to play in a way that suits my defensive style and movements.

(Reflecting on the match)
It would be great if we could take control and push forward, but soccer is a sport with opponents.

Nagasaki's determination to bet everything on this match was palpable.
In response, even when chances were created, we kept a clean sheet and tried to switch gears in the second half.

I think it wasn't bad in that regard to keep the goals conceded down even in a difficult situation.
If we score one point and win, Tokyo should be said to be 'strong after all.'
I was aiming for that kind of development, but...

That's why conceding a goal is disappointing.
The second ball from the set play was picked up... I think, but right now I'm not sure

However, in the locker room after the match, everyone was switching gears to make the most of today's defeat for the next time.
I believe that I am also being asked for "strength" in competitions, so I want to continue to demonstrate my abilities and contribute to victories.

《Tokyo - Summary of the Press Conference by Coach Kenta HASEGAWA》
"Following the last match, many fans and supporters came to Ajinomoto Stadium, and I wanted to somehow present a victory to everyone, but today Nagasaki played very well, and it turned out to be a match where we could not perform well."

Of course, since it was after the last match, I talked to the players during training about how important today's match is in various ways, and I believe the players understood this well and approached today's game accordingly. However, the first half was not very good, and the period when we pushed forward in the second half was too late. I think we should have created that shape from the end of the first half and put more pressure on Nagasaki, but we couldn't find a way to tire them out.

However, since it's a series of matches, I want to switch gears and prepare thoroughly for the away game against Kashima.

《Q&A》
Q=We changed the system in the last two matches and returned to a two-top formation, didn't we?
"It had been a while, but since they had been playing together for a long time, I thought they would get in sync as they went along. Nagai himself said his shoulder was fine, but it seemed like he still had a slight discomfort."
Therefore, I replaced Togashi in the first half.
Togashi played selflessly, connecting good defense to good offense, and he was able to hold the ball up front with his body, allowing us to create a pressing shape. I think we used the inside and outside a bit better in the second half, but I still feel we lacked intensity today. In matches like this, we need to become a team that can secure at least one point, and ideally three points.

Q=Did you think today would be a difficult development?
I thought Nagasaki would not be an easy opponent, and I have prepared accordingly.
Their commitment to points and the feelings that come from watching player Tokunaga conveyed the passion they have for this match, and I thought it wouldn't be an easy game as I entered the match today.

Even if the first half developed like that, it can't be helped.
However, in this kind of match development, truly strong teams score goals and win even if the performance is poor.
Unless we become that kind of team, we cannot truly say we have become a strong team.

《Summary of the Press Conference by Nagasaki Coach Takuya TAKAGI》
Since the league matches resumed recently, we had conceded goals in two consecutive games, so finishing with a clean sheet is very significant. At the same time, I believe that earning three points was also a very big achievement.
Regarding today's match, FC Tokyo is playing very well, and they slightly changed their midfield structure to a pure two-top formation. In response, we managed to keep them scoreless in the first half. I believe that our ability to effectively respond to the characteristics of the two-top formation was a factor in not conceding any goals. We also created several chances while effectively utilizing the flanks, but our challenges for shots on target were lacking, so we need to improve in that area.
I want to thank the players for fighting until the end.

《Q&A》
Q=What is your evaluation of DF Vice, who made his debut?
"He is an experienced player, so I would like to say that I am not worried at all, but since he has only recently joined the team and there haven't been many situations to play in during the preparation phase, there were some concerns."

I talked to him a lot and made the decision to let him play, and I think he performed better than expected.
Rather than just being available in the center of the three-back formation, his ability to go in and disrupt plays and the way he communicates was outstanding.

I believe that if my condition improves from now on, I will be able to play even better.
The other players also need to understand his coaching better, so we have to keep working on it.
