[Player and Coach Comments]
《Cayman TOGASHI》
(It was a magnificent equalizing goal. How do you feel looking back on it?)
"Since Muroya was carrying the ball in a free position, I just focused on the timing to jump in."
It was a really good ball that came, so I was glad it went in just by hitting it.
(It felt like we were playing more intensely than usual)
"We all talked about expressing what we were able to do in the first half through our play."
There were some unclear moments at the start, and we conceded the first goal, but after that, we were able to show aggression from the front line.
I’m glad we were able to win with a comeback in the end.
(Towards the match against Kobe)
"Since it's a series of matches, it's important to win the next game properly."
We want to prepare together for the team's victory.
Masato MORISHIGE
It was a victory by 2-1. Looking back at the match
"In the beginning of the first half, we were pushed back by the opponent, but as time passed, we were able to push back."
Although we conceded a goal, it was significant that we were able to equalize in the first half. After leveling the score, I believe we showed our resilience.
The player who came on as a substitute scored the decisive goal, so I think we were able to win with our overall strength today.
(Looking ahead)
"We must continue to win. I believe we should not be satisfied with just winning one or two matches, so I want us all to build on this and keep winning more.
I want to show a more aggressive attitude towards aiming for victory.
Summary of the press conference by Kenta HASEGAWA, Tokyo's coach
The players recovered well from the defeat in the last match and fought hard in today's game.
I am really glad that we were able to present a victory to many Tokyo fans and supporters.
The start wasn't bad, but the pressure was weak, and there were times when we couldn't take the ball away. However, I think conceding a goal switched the players on.
After that, there were a few minor chances, but we weren't exploited there. However, the opponent is a team that can strike at any moment, and I thought that if we continued to play to their rhythm, we would eventually be caught out. I was thinking that we needed to make a move at some point.
In that sense, Nagai and Lins, who came on as substitutes, did their jobs well.
Since there is a flow from the match before last to the last match, I believe we need to make good use of the three-day preparation period, switch gears, and prepare for the home game against Kobe.
《Q&A》
Q=The substitute made an impact in the last 15 minutes after coming on in the 30th minute of the second half.
The starting two forwards played aggressively. Thanks to that, it was clear that the center backs of Kashima were exhausted. In that situation, we were able to capitalize on our chances and do our job, which I believe has led to a very significant comeback victory, even though the second half of the season has just begun.
《Kashima - Go OIWA's Press Conference Summary》
We took the lead in a good way, but we conceded a goal that gave the opponent momentum midway through the second half, and it became a game where we couldn't push back.
However, the players showed an aggressive attitude, so I would like to evaluate that properly and move on to the next step.
Q=Compared to Tokyo, there was no rotation of players. Did you feel any differences in the players' physical weight or condition?
"I don't think there was a difference in condition, but the opponent was quicker to close down on the ball, and I regret that we couldn't get around that. We need to improve our precision when we have the ball even more."
