[Player/Coach Comments]

"Hyun Soo JANG"

(It was a difficult game. Looking back on the game)
"I think today's game was the worst among the games we've played this season."
Despite leading by 2 points at halftime, we ended up losing by 3 points in the second half.
We must reflect on this game together as a team, including myself. This game should be a chance for us to become stronger.

(My thoughts on scoring the first goal of the season)
"Ota gave me a good ball and I was able to time my jump perfectly."
I think it was good to score.
(For the next match)
There were some good parts in the game and the flow was good. However, looking at the entire 90 minutes, I think our concentration was lacking. It's been the same in the past two matches as well.
We must reflect on the game together, make corrections to our issues, and prepare for the next match.
"We need to become mentally stronger."

"Player Akihiro HAYASHI"

(Looking back on the match)
"The start was good and it was a good match in terms of content."
The most relaxed moment of this season is when the score difference becomes two points. We were unable to tighten it up at that point.
"We were put in a situation where the opponent was coming at us in an irregular way, so we had to make adjustments during the game. We also lacked the ability to prevent the opponent from breaking us down until the very end."

(What are the points to improve for the next game?)
"We have to take one more step forward. It was our first three consecutive losses this season, so we have no choice but to make up for it."
"I want to take a step forward with a new feeling."

(I felt a difference in the amount of exercise in the second half)
"Watching from behind, the movement in the second half seemed to be slowing down."
Everyone had the consciousness of leading by two points, but there was no intention to defend. However, I think our aggressiveness decreased.
"I think there was a sense of being afraid of taking risks and trying to be as safe as possible, including myself."

"Summary of Tokyo - Kenta HASEGAWA Coach's Press Conference"

"Losing after being turned over by a 2-point difference is the most frustrating. The players entered the game with a strong determination to stop the losing streak and gave us a fantastic game."
However, the disappointing part was the start of the second half. We talked about "let's go for another goal" and entered the second half, but maybe we relaxed a little because we were leading by two points.
That also led to conceding a goal, and I think our response in front of the goal was a little sloppy.
In the end, the start of the second half was the key point of today's match.
However, we have been unable to score the first goal in recent games.
In that sense, I think today's game was a big gain for the team as we were able to create many chances from the first half and take a 2-point lead. We want to prepare ourselves well so that we can win the game in this way next time.
Many fans and supporters came to Hokkaido to support us, and although the players did their best with the thought of "somehow", I am truly sorry that we could not give you a victory.
On the other hand, for Sapporo, I think that scoring one point in a situation where they have to go is a big boost for them at home.

I hope we can win this kind of game and everyone will do their best. We want to switch gears and prepare for the next Emperor's Cup match against Yamagata and the weekend match against Shonan.

"Q&A"
Q=What role did you expect from player Maeda?
"I expected him to be the starting point and the final goal-getter in the front line, as it can be difficult with just speed-based players if Sapporo falls behind and becomes defensive. He was in good shape during training and even though he was coming back from an injury, I used him with the hope that he would score one goal for us."

Q=Player Hinda made his first appearance in J1.
"Because this was the type of game, we needed players who could carry the ball in the midfield. Aito is a player who excels at this type of play, so I sent him out with the message, 'Go out there with confidence.' He also has the ability to take mid-range shots, so I told him to take a shot whenever there was an opportunity."

Q=Did the decrease in second half activity have an effect from consecutive games?
"There were some players on the side who seemed to be struggling physically, but I think the rest of the team ran until the end. Of course, there were also substitutions for Sapporo, but I think we relaxed a bit in the second half because we were leading in the first half. I hope we can continue to play well in the second half and defend well in front of the goal, just like we did in the first half. Of course, there may be changes in tactics due to substitutions for Sapporo, but I also think there was an issue with our mentality today."

"Hokkaido Sapporo Mihailo Petrovic's Press Conference Summary"
"The first half will probably be counted as one of the worst first halves since I became the coach."
The players seemed a little scared, and as a result, the game became a struggle to connect passes. They either resorted to long balls or lost possession, and were unable to take control of the ball themselves.
Still, I was afraid to kick the ball and afraid of making mistakes. As a result, my support movements were also reduced.
It was an unsatisfactory first half, as we conceded two goals while continuing to play passively.
I made some adjustments during halftime and gave some harsh words.
In the second half, our players did what they were supposed to do from the start. They put pressure on the opponent from the front, and the transition between offense and defense became faster, which seemed to result in more winning situations in the ball contest.
I think the substitute player who came in did a good job.
I think it will take some time for our team to reach the level of maturity needed to play the soccer we aim for throughout the game.

However, if the players understand the difference between the first half and the second half, I think we can grow. The Sapporo team is a team that can create chances and score goals against any opponent, with ideas.
However, in order to grasp victory, there are still many things that the players need to learn.
So far, in Sec. 22, the players have been fighting well and I am grateful for the support of the supporters.
The team is making progress. While winning and losing, the players are taking one step forward. I believe that daily practice is important in order to not stop that progress. In order to value that accumulation, I want to continue building on it from here.
Finally, after a series of consecutive games, we have time to practice. While savoring this victory, we will continue to do our best starting tomorrow.
We were able to come back from a 2-point deficit against a strong Tokyo team, which I believe proves our strength. Showing that we can win against tough opponents by playing our own game gives us confidence.
