[Player/Coach Comments]
"Keigo HIGASHI"
"I think it was a good game where both teams showed their strengths and colors. I am very happy that we were able to achieve victory in that game."
(It seemed like they were playing with more physicality than usual)
"I want to go up in the rankings, and we always end up in the middle, so there's a chance to go up. I think it would be a waste if we don't play with our hearts. I want to make this season a good one, so with three more games left, it's really great that we were able to grab a win here."
(Looking ahead to the next match)
"I think Iwata will come with high motivation as they are fighting to avoid relegation, so I want to fight with even more determination. We haven't won at home for a while, so I want to somehow win and get excited together with our fans and supporters."
"Hyun Soo JANG"
(Before entering the match)
"The most important thing is not to cause trouble for the team. I entered the match with the feeling of wanting to repay the fans and supporters with my play. Winning the game is everything for the team."
(I think there were complicated feelings, but how have you been feeling these past few days?)
"As a professional player, I had to show a fighting attitude from training."
Of course, there were complex and painful feelings, but I think it was a very big thing to be able to win today's game while controlling my mind.
(He bowed to the fans and supporters many times after the game)
"The feelings of not being able to give a good performance as a team and individually in the last few games, and the personal feelings overlapped."
(What about the combination with Niwa?)
"We had many opportunities to play together in training, which allowed us to understand and deepen each other's playing style."
(I heard Hyun-sco's name many times)
"I am grateful that the fans and supporters called my name many times."
We must repay our fans and supporters, and strive to become beloved football players for Tokyo.
"Tokyo - Manager Kenta HASEGAWA Press Conference Summary"
"It's been a while since we scored from a set piece, and there were some dangerous moments, but I think everyone fought together without losing focus. The next game will be an important one at home, so we want to prepare well and win against Iwata."
Q=Did something happen to Takahagi during the second half when he was replaced by Tanabe?
"There were no major accidents, but my condition hasn't been improving since last week. I was able to play to some extent in the first half, but compared to my usual play, I lacked a bit of aggressiveness. Last weekend, both (Keigo) Higashi and (Sotan) Tanabe had a great performance in a practice match, so I brought in Tanabe in the second half."
Q=What was your impression of Hyun Soo JANG's performance today, given that he was in a difficult mental state and even shed tears after scoring a goal as a starter?
"I think he only has the ability to focus on soccer right now, as he probably had some feelings about today's game. In that sense, there was a strict warning from the team and an announcement from the Korean Football Association, so it was a difficult situation. But we talked a little bit about how he can do his best and sent him out onto the pitch with trust, as he is the captain for this season."
Q=What was the intention of using player Ogawa in this match, and what was communicated before the match, and how was the result received?
"Since (Ryoya) OGAWA's performance was consistently good, it's not that (Kosuke) OTA was significantly bad, but at the moment, we chose OGAWA because his condition is better. In the first half, there were a few dangerous moments where he was cut in, but as time went on, he showed his strengths. If he had hit the second ball from the corner kick with a header, I think there would have been nothing to say."
Q=Today's opponent was Yokohama FM, which has a characteristic of ball possession. What are your countermeasures and goals?
"We respected them enough and played in a 4-2-3-1 formation today, but we were still being controlled in the midfield and couldn't build up our game. That's why we started with a strong midfield to maintain balance. However, we knew that the time to make a move would come, so players like Lins who came in later and Kensuke Nagai who constantly threatened the opponent, helped us defend our one-point lead until the end."
"Yokohama FM Ange POSTECOGLOU Press Conference Summary"
"Unfortunately, the result was not rewarded, but I believe I gave everything I asked for as a player and responded."
Q=After 4 consecutive wins, we have lost 3 consecutive games in official matches. What do you think is the cause?
"It was a bit difficult to fully demonstrate our soccer on the pitch conditions. However, even in those conditions, I think the players did their best."
Q=2 games without scoring, but what is the reason for not creating goals?
"As I said earlier, I don't think we had any major issues. It was a difficult pitch condition to play our football on."
And I may be looking at things from a different perspective than everyone else. Instead of just looking at the result of zero, there may have been a team trying to score points and being stopped. Including those aspects, that's what I'm seeing."
