[Player and Coach Comments]

《Kosuke OTA》

"Kawasaki was strong... It's frustrating, but to be honest, that's my impression."
I expected to have the ball controlled to some extent, so that was not unexpected.
Among them, we created chances from counterattacks and set pieces.
Although we were able to penetrate deep into the opponent's territory several times, including from the sides, we couldn't capitalize on those opportunities.
I feel that it is a challenge not just for today, but throughout the season.

We conceded the opening goal, but every time during the 'Tamagawa Classico', there is an atmosphere that 'something will happen' even if we concede. Today had that kind of atmosphere as well, so we tried to make a comeback... However, we couldn't equalize in the first half, and we conceded a second goal at the start of the second half, which we couldn't recover from. I think there were differences with Kawasaki not just in the final accuracy, but in various aspects.
It's frustrating, but I want to acknowledge that and turn it into our growth.

It is frustrating that our goal of reaching the ACL as a team has disappeared, but compared to last season, I think it was a positive season.
There is one match left. I want to grow a little and finish with a win.

《Diego OLIVEIRA》
We were able to continue winning in good form until the middle of the season.
I feel sorry that we have not been able to win, especially at home, in the second half of the season.
As individuals and as a team, there must be various reflections, but even during the times we couldn't win, there were many good games. It is most disappointing that we couldn't achieve results among those.

(Has the relegation of Kashiwa from J2 been decided?)
Many of my teammates who I played with are there, so it's disappointing.
I believe they can return in a year.
I will think about my contract after the season ends.
Right now, I am focused on the match against Urawa, and I am only thinking about finishing well as a member of Tokyo.

Summary of the Press Conference with Tokyo's Kenta HASEGAWA

"The champion was indeed strong."
Even watching Kawasaki's last few matches, I thought it was inevitable to have less ball possession in the first half, and I wanted to find a chance to win in the second half. However, if I said that too much, we would end up retreating too much, and our position to regain the ball would drop, so I wanted to avoid that.
We conceded a goal due to a mistake, and the first half progressed with them having the upper hand.
Among them, the players fought to keep the least number of goals conceded and aimed to win in the second half.
Although we conceded a goal first in the second half, if we could score one goal, it would shift the momentum in our favor.
As expected, in the end, when the opponent set up a defensive block, it was difficult to break through.

This season, this team did not have the power to score against the opponents who played defensively.
I have also been working on various things since summer, but in the second half of the season, there were many instances where I couldn't finish against opponents who played defensively.
We need to elevate our team strength to the next level.
There is no doubt that we have been able to create many chances.
The team has grown since the first half of the season, but they lacked the power to push through.
I want to finish the final match in a higher position.

Summary of the Press Conference with Kawasaki Coach Toru ONIKI

I would like to sincerely thank the supporters from Tokyo and Kawasaki for creating such a great stadium atmosphere.
We have been training for the past two weeks to play our own style of football. Throughout both halves, there were some tough moments in the second half, but I believe that is part of who we are. Including the fact that we finished with a score of zero, I think we played a really good game.

Q=In the previous match, although you won the championship, it was decided by a loss. After that, you mentioned wanting to make the remaining matches meaningful, but how do you position today's match in that sense? Also, it was Tanaka Ao's first start; could you please provide your evaluation of him?

"First of all, the last match was a victory amidst defeat, so I really feel disappointed. However, with only two matches left, we want to show our football. This year, we only have those two matches left, so we aimed to express that feeling on the pitch and show it to everyone. In that sense, our defense was solid from the front, and in terms of attack, we stepped up during opportunities. I believe we displayed our unique style of football. Regarding Tanaka Ao, he has been training hard not just for these two weeks, but throughout the year, so it wouldn't be surprising if he got a chance at any moment. In that context, he brought what he usually does onto the pitch and played with confidence, which I think was really great."
