[Player/Coach Comments]
"Kosuke OTA"
"Kawasaki was strong... It's frustrating, but to be honest, that's how I feel."
I expected to be dominated by the ball to some extent, so it's not unexpected in that regard.
We created chances from counters and set plays.
We were able to penetrate deep into the opponent's territory several times, including the sides, but we were unable to finish there.
It is not just for today, but a challenge throughout the season.
Although we scored the first goal, there is always a sense of "something happening" even if we concede in every "Tama River Clasico". Today, we tried to recover from that atmosphere, but... We couldn't catch up in the first half, and we lost the second goal at the beginning of the second half, so we couldn't return. I think there were differences not only in the final accuracy with Kawasaki, but also in various aspects.
It's frustrating, but I want to acknowledge that and use it as a stepping stone for our growth.
Although it is regrettable that our goal of reaching the ACL as a team has disappeared and we no longer have a goal, I think it was a positive season compared to last season.
Only one game left. I want to grow even a little and win to finish it off."
"Diego OLIVEIRA"
"We were able to continue winning in a good form until the middle of the season."
In the second half, I am sorry that we were unable to win especially at home.
As an individual, there are also various reflections as a team, but there were many good games even during the period when we couldn't win. It's most regrettable that we couldn't produce results during that time.
(Did Kashiwa's relegation from J2 get decided?)
"It's a shame that many of my former teammates will no longer be playing together."
But I think they can come back in a year.
I will think about my contract after the end of the season.
"Right now, I am focused on the Urawa game and only thinking about ending it in a good way as a member of Tokyo."
"Tokyo - Manager Kenta HASEGAWA Press Conference Summary"
"The champion was indeed strong."
Even watching Kawasaki's last few games, I thought it was inevitable to have the ball held in the first half, and I wanted to find a chance to win in the second half. However, if I say too much, I end up pulling back too much and the position to steal the ball drops, so I wanted to avoid that.
We conceded one goal due to a mistake and the first half was dominated by the opponent's comfortable play.
The players fought to keep the least number of goals against, and tried to turn the game around in the second half.
Although we were scored on first in the second half, it was a situation where we could turn the tide in our favor if we were able to score one point.
As expected, in the end, it was difficult to break through the opponent's defensive block.
This season, this team did not have the power to score against the opponents they drew with.
I also worked on various things after summer, but in the second half, there were many cases where we couldn't beat the opponent who pulled back, which resulted in a lot of things.
We need to raise the team's strength even further.
There is no doubt that we have been able to create many opportunities.
The team has grown since the first half, but they lacked the power to push through until the end.
"I want to finish the final game in a higher position."
"Kawasaki - Toru Oniki Press Conference Summary"
"I want to thank the supporters of Tokyo and Kawasaki for creating such a great stadium atmosphere."
We have been training for the past two weeks to play our own style of soccer. Although we had some difficult moments in the second half, we believe that we were able to play our own game. We are really happy with the final score of 0-0 and we think we played a great game overall.
Q=In the previous round, the championship was decided with a defeat. After that, you said you wanted to make the remaining games meaningful, but how was today's game in that sense? Also, Tanaka Aoi was starting for the first time, could you please evaluate him?
"First of all, it was a victory in the midst of defeat in the previous match, so I am really disappointed. However, with only two matches left, we can show our soccer. This year, there are only two left, so we want to show that feeling on the pitch and send it to everyone. In that sense, in terms of defense, they went firmly from the front, and in terms of attack, they came out strongly when they had a chance. In that sense, I think they played the kind of soccer that we are used to. As for Aoi Tanaka, he has been training for a year, not just these two weeks, so it wouldn't be strange for him to have a chance. In that sense, he did what he usually does on the pitch and played with confidence, so I think it was really good."
