《Tokyo U-23 Coach Tetsu NAGASAWA Press Conference Summary》
"On the same day and at the same time, the top team is playing at Ajinomoto, but despite that, I want to take this opportunity to thank the fans and supporters who came out for today's match. As for the game, if I were to summarize it, I would say it was a bit immature. Since it's a young U-23 team, I hope to use this as a stepping stone for the team's growth. I believe this game has become one that we must keep that in mind."

The scene of the early goal conceded was remarkable, as the opponent's header shot was excellent. However, we also had enough players in position, so the area where the header was struck showed that the opponent is a professional, not a high school student. There was a discrepancy in strength in that aspect.
In the second half, we made adjustments to go for goals and had some decisive chances, but if we can't score, the opposite can happen. This is a fundamental rule that anyone who knows football understands from experience. Whether we can play with that understanding is another matter, and during that time, we almost found ourselves in one-on-one situations due to easy mistakes in midfield, including just before we were about to concede. Arthur SILVA stopped it, but overall, I feel that our judgment became a bit naive amidst the chaos. Overall, it felt like we were somewhat led by Kitakyushu's very organized football, but we are still a group with a lot of potential for growth, and our goal is to see how many players can excel in the top team, so we want to use this experience as a stepping stone moving forward.
