"Tokyo U-23, Coach Tetsu NAGASAWA's Press Conference Summary"
"First of all, I am truly grateful that over 1,000 fans and supporters gathered at Nishigaoka. Despite being busy, you all came to our U-23 home opener and I am very sorry that we were unable to earn 3 points."
In terms of the match, since young players were participating, we had to play more aggressively.
I think the reason for today's defeat was that we couldn't express our aggressiveness while enduring the opponent's tough and persistent play. Throughout the game, we tried various challenges such as changing our position and player placement, but we still need to improve as we were not able to make threatening plays against the opponent.
Since it is a league game, each player needs to use the experience from today's match to their advantage in the next game, and the most important thing is to win and gain confidence. We want to prepare well for the next home game against Fujieda.
(What is the standing position, is it the positioning during the game or simply the meaning of arrangement?)
"I had too many people in the build-up against opponents who were pressing from the front line."
The goal is to score, so it is important to know where to play while moving the ball. I think it was a waste to have too many people behind today, and we cannot score unless we aim for the opponent's penalty area.
The challenge remains to be the position that focuses on attacking with numbers in front.
(Nakamura's position today was on the left side. I think his main position is on the right, but today's evaluation is)
"I don't want to give a personal evaluation. However, in modern football, it is difficult to play in just one position. In the top team, left-handed Ogawa also plays on the right side, and coach Hasegawa demands playing in multiple positions."
"I value the fact that I was able to try and play in today's match, as practicing and experiencing it in a real game are completely different things."
