[Player/Coach Comments]

"Keigo HIGASHI"
(Today, he had the impression of playing more simply than ever before)
"The opponent's line was high, so I was thinking of utilizing the speed of players like Nagai and Diego OLIVEIRA. There were times when it led to a goal and times when it didn't, but I approached it with that in mind."

(Assisted the final goal. Looking back on that scene)
"When I trapped the ball, I saw Nagai player, so I was able to make a pass that would utilize Nagai's speed. I think it was a very difficult goal, so I'm really glad he scored it."

(We have taken the top spot, but how do you feel?)
"We have only played 4 games so far, so nothing is decided yet. There are still many challenges ahead, and we will continue to work together through meetings and daily practices to strive for the best. When the season ends, we want to be able to say, 'We were truly a great team'."

(Manager Masaru HASEGAWA said, "I have seen many players so far, but Higashi is a player who can produce great through passes from the start.")
"I have a strong focus on passing, and I think it's something that can stand out when it's executed like today. Of course, there are times when it doesn't work, but as a player, it's very gratifying to be recognized by the manager. I want to win for the manager and I want to win the championship, so I want to continue to play well in the next game."

(In the second half, as the game progressed, it was seen that player Higashi was encouraging the team with big gestures)
"We could see the team starting to focus more on defense, but since there was still time left, I told everyone to show their faces and connect the ball when we got it. We want to pay attention to the details in order to reach higher places and gain strength to score not just one, but two or three more goals."

"Masato MORISHIGE"
(The most important thing for the team to aim for victory)
"I think it's important for the whole team to understand what they need to do and continue this fight at a high level throughout the long season. Especially in the first four games, our performance has been improving, so we want to keep it up."

(Occasionally, there were scenes where he participated in the attack)
"Today, there were many such scenes by chance, but I still thought it was fun to attack."

(Defense seems to be quite matured by the 4th game)
"Goalkeeper Hayashi gives detailed instructions to everyone. Not only in games, but also in daily practice, we are able to play with a common understanding of defense."

(Player Hayashi also mentioned, "We have been able to thoroughly challenge and cover, and our cooperation has also improved."
"I think the distance between the four players in the DF line is everything. I think it's because we are always able to play while communicating with each other. When our cooperation is good, we can cover for each other even if mistakes occur.")

(It was a battle for the top spot, although it is still early in the season)
"Our efforts have paid off and we are seeing the results. I think our preparations have been reflected in our performance so far. We want to continue this momentum and maintain our position at the top in the upcoming matches."

"Tokyo - Manager Masaru HASEGAWA Press Conference Summary"
"A tense match where both teams showed their strengths. We were able to utilize our strengths and end with a victory. There were some dangerous moments, but we were able to make the right decisions and not let the ball fly out of the frame by colliding with our bodies at the last moment."
This season, it was the first time that Nagai took the lead point from the flow of the two top players. He scored a goal that gave the team momentum. I think we were able to play very aggressively today."

(It looked like a better performance than last week's Tosu match. Was there any special motivation?)
"Soccer is about having an opponent to make it work. We were able to have a great game because Nagoya is a great team. Of course, there was a great motivation for the players to win against the opponent who has won three consecutive games, and the feeling of having a disappointing game in the previous home opener was shown by the players in today's match. We want to continue playing with the same passion in the future."

(He was defending against Joe by multiplying the number of players. His response to second balls was also good, but as for instructions in that area)
"(I didn't give any specific instructions. Even if they are careful, they have the ability to hit headers from above, like Morishige and Hyun Soo JANG. I thought it was very important to not give up until the end and not let the opponent take a good position to shoot. As for Morishige and Hyun Soo JANG, they understand well enough without me saying anything special. They were able to respond to second balls while working well with the defensive midfielder. The last header scene could have been a situation where we were scored on, but we were able to show perseverance.")

(Today, both Higashi and Muroya were fantastic. Can you talk about these two players?)
"Higashi was named captain this year and has been fantastic since last season. He showed his leadership as captain today as well. I think he played at a high level and made very few mistakes. Especially in connecting passes, he showed his true play style. His through passes have been of high quality since last season. Personally, I have seen many passers in my previous team, but I think Higashi's through passes are truly top-notch."
Muroya stood out on defense. As for him, he is a key player on both offense and defense, so I think he held back a bit after scoring the first goal. Overall, the quality of our feeds has improved. That's why I think Coach Moriyasu continues to choose him for the national team, and as a national team player, it is only natural to play with a sense of responsibility. I think I have been able to consistently demonstrate my abilities without any ups and downs in my play."

"Nagoya - Yahiro Kazama Press Conference Summary"
"Overall, it wasn't a bad game. Especially in the second half, we pushed forward and created chances, but we need to be more precise and accurate in order to create more opportunities. However, we did have some scoring chances."

(There were also moments when the passes didn't connect)
I think we tried too hard to solve everything with just one pass. We need to be able to accurately control the ball and take our time to kick it, even on away grounds where the conditions may be different."

(The game itself was a fierce and exciting match. How was the level of play?)
"The Nagoya players are still in the process of improving. What was good about this game was that we were able to control the game to a certain extent. Even though we couldn't find our rhythm in the beginning, we were able to control the game while watching our opponents. It was a game where we could feel the growth of our players for the full 90 minutes."
