"Tokyo U-23 Tetsu NAGASAWA Manager's Press Conference Summary"
"Despite having about 1,000 fans and supporters come to Nishigaoka this week and cheer us on, I feel sorry that we were unable to earn any points."
The game started with a slow reaction to the opponent's play, resulting in a disadvantageous situation.
One of the reasons for this is that the opponent's front line players were able to create good opportunities, and even when pressure was applied, they were able to turn the tables.
I think the whole team has calmed down a bit since Watanabe started responding well and was able to bounce back around the 20-minute mark of the first half.
I regret not being able to fight more aggressively from the start, as I think it would have prevented this kind of development.
In the attack, it seemed like there was no clear path to creating goals.
Kono tried to dribble, but the opponent corrected quickly and closed the center, so he had to play outside for a long time.
Did not succeed in advancing to the goal by aiming at the back of the DF line and side changes.
I thought we had a chance if we could play without conceding any goals, but we ended up conceding from a set piece, so we need to improve.
Players are hungry for victory, so I want them to use that feeling as motivation and appeal from their training for the next game.
(The reason for changing the position in the latter half was)
"I thought about increasing the number of players in the front line because we were not able to create a good attacking shape."
I changed my position to create an opportunity, but I couldn't move the ball forward as I wanted due to the opponent's pressure.
"I wanted to change the formation when it was 0-0, but it didn't work out because we were in a losing situation."
