《FC Tokyo U-23 Coach Tetsu NAGASAWA Press Conference Summary》
(Looking back at the match)
"I am truly grateful to the fans and supporters who came to cheer for the U-23, even with the J1 matches being held on the same day.
I am very sorry that we could not win at the same time.
The game started with a mistake in handling the opponent's long ball, leading to a goal from a situation where four players were caught off guard. Then, we conceded another goal from the second shot, which I believe was due to our slow start. After that, we managed to regroup and had some chances, but ultimately, we were struck by a third goal from a set piece, following the common saying, 'If you can't strike, you'll be struck.'
We got to 3 to 2, but as I mentioned before, it's too late if you're being hit and forced to lift your face.
The U-23 category is originally meant to be about fighting aggressively with youth, but I reflect on the fact that we ended up playing in a somewhat passive manner.
However, it is also true that we caught up and did not give up, so I want to correct the way we enter the game and send as many capable players as possible to the top team.
