"FC Tokyo U-23 Tetsu NAGASAWA Manager Press Conference Summary"
(Looking back on the match)
"I am truly grateful to the fans and supporters who came to support the U-23 team during the J1 match held on the same day."
I am very sorry that we could not win at the same time.
The game started with conceding a goal from the opponent's long ball, which was handled by four players and ended up in a loose start. Then, we conceded another goal from the second shot, and I think that was the key to our defeat. After that, we tried to recover and had some chances, but we couldn't convert them. In the end, we were stabbed by a set piece, as they say, "if you can't score, you'll be scored on", and it was a game that followed the common saying.
We got to 3-2, but as I said before, if we keep getting hit and forced to look up, we'll be too slow.
U-23 is originally a place where it is best to fight aggressively with youth, but I regret that I made them play in a way that made them receive a little.
"However, it is a fact that we have not given up and have continued to catch up, so we want to correct the way we enter the game and send as many people as possible to the top team who can fight firmly."
