《Tokyo U-23 - Summary of the Press Conference by Coach Tetsu NAGASAWA》
(Looking back at the match)
"First of all, I would like to thank the approximately 1900 fans and supporters who came today. There was also an intense match in Suita yesterday, and I am truly grateful for your continued support."
C Osaka is a team that plays very faithfully in terms of winning through running and at the ball. This is something that Kenta HASEGAWA, the head coach, values even in top teams, so despite the hot and harsh climate, we unified our awareness to approach the game without falling behind.
I think today's match was initiated by winning battles in key situations. In a straightforward matchup of 4-4-2 formations without significant positional changes, it came down to individual battles. When it comes to ball contests, anticipation and preparation are everything, so being able to be half a step quicker in awareness than the opponent in this weather was thanks to the support of our fans and supporters, and I believe the players played with pride.
As I have always said, the players' goal is not just to win here and celebrate, but to earn recognition from Coach Hasegawa and continue to prove their play and results on the pitch to stay competitive with the top team. In that sense, it has been two to three months since the season started, and I believe we have developed a strong fighting mentality. To participate in J1, we need to continue playing more matches, so I want to keep up the rigorous training.
