Tokyo U-23 · Tetsu NAGASAWA Coach Press Conference Summary ≫

"I heard that there were also people who came to support us in today's match, following the J1 League match at Ajinomoto Stadium yesterday. Thank you very much."
We fought to aim for 3 points, but only managed to gain 1 point. I feel that we need a little more determination to win.
As you can see from the team composition, many young players belonging to U-18 participated in today's match. Among them, players such as Niwa, Hirakawa, and Shina who belong to the top team played while considering the team first and paying attention to their surroundings, which was good despite the difficult situation.

Three good points from the game.
The first was that we didn't lose in the battle for the ball and the DF line didn't drop. The second was that we were able to attack positively towards the goal. The third was that we were able to have a persistent defense while communicating with each other, centered around Go HATANO, in front of our own goal.
However, we still need to be able to overwhelm our opponents in games like today's, and throughout the game, I hope our young players will continue to grow.

(At the beginning of the season, we were conceding a lot of goals, but in the last two games we have not conceded any)
"Each individual understands their role clearly, and the first team's defense is excellent, so I think if we train together as a team, we can also see the positive aspects."
I think it's great that experienced players like Niwa are coaching and passing on important things to young players, encouraging them.
