[Player/Coach Comments]
"Comment from Sei MUROYA"
(Although the team was unable to gain momentum)
"The temperature was very high and it was a tough game, so it was frustrating not to win. However, there will come a time when we lose and today was just that. Today, we want to fix the issues that came up and prepare for the next game."
(We were able to create several chances within that)
"Today, we couldn't finish our chances. However, our attacking players have been able to convert a few limited chances and save the team multiple times. In games like this, I felt that it was ideal to keep a clean sheet and bring back one point."
(The reason we couldn't get momentum throughout the game)
"Even in previous games, there were many close battles, but we were able to earn points. No matter how good the content is, there are days like this."
Today, I think that the result was caused by conceding a goal. It made me realize once again the difficulty of soccer.
"Kento HASHIMOTO Player Comment"
"We played without giving up, and even had a chance at the end, so it's a frustrating defeat, but we want to switch gears and look forward to the next one."
(Played as a center back from the middle)
"I usually play in front of the center back, so I was able to play without feeling uncomfortable. When I became a center back, I wanted to go for the goal, but I wanted to push more. I wanted to push and create chances, but I couldn't do that."
(There were also moments where we were able to push and control the ball in the second half)
"I thought that as the opponent got tired and spaces opened up, we would be able to take advantage of that, but their defense was solid and it didn't turn out the way we wanted. We need to improve on that, especially as it gets tougher in the summer."
(It was the first defeat in the league match)
"The challenge for us is whether we can control difficult games and bring them to victory. If we can't take the lead and attack, I think we will face more difficult matches in the future. Today was a good lesson, so I want to build on it for the next match."
"Tokyo - Manager Masaru HASEGAWA Press Conference Summary"
"Losing is extremely frustrating."
I heard that many fans and supporters came to support us in the tough schedule match, and some even came directly from the Wednesday Tosu match.
I wanted to live up to those expectations, but I felt like my feet weren't moving until the end.
I wanted to put Arthur SILVA in the midfield during the game to move the opponent, but C Osaka is also a strong defensive team, so it was not easy to move them. In that situation, it is possible to concede a goal. I also think that the defense fought with concentration in this hot weather.
We must have the attacking power to score one point in any situation. We need to switch and fight hard in the next match.
(When it comes to physicality, we didn't see the usual Tokyo style. What do you think is the reason for that?)
"I don't think there is just one reason, but it was a two away game in two days and Osaka was hotter than expected. However, there were also players who rested during the Tosu game, so we had hoped they would be able to move a little more, but they couldn't. The players who played in both games did their best."
"Among them, I hope to see Arthur make his league debut and have high expectations for the future."
"C Osaka Lotina Press Conference Summary"
"It was a game against a team with a strong defense and it was difficult to create chances. Even though it seemed like we were dominating the game, we were still at risk of being countered. The opposing team had fast and skilled players who were looking to launch quick attacks. We focused on our positioning when we had the ball and were mindful of their counterattacks while also looking for opportunities to attack. I think our defense was good throughout the game and we were able to move the ball well in our attacks and get into their area."
The opponent also created chances, but I am satisfied with the victory, not just the victory, but also with the team's fighting attitude."
