《Tokyo U-23 - Summary of the Press Conference by Coach Tetsu NAGASAWA》

I am very grateful to the fans and supporters who created an atmosphere at Nishi-ga-oka despite the top match being held in Sendai for the J1 League today. I am also excited that we were able to deliver another victory.

Numazu plays fast vertical soccer and frequently utilizes direct play, showing strength in their wave-like attacks while picking up loose balls. Therefore, we focused on whether we could move the ball forward after picking up the loose balls today, rather than simply kicking it away.

The defense line consisted of youth players averaging 16 to 17 years old, but by experiencing games like this multiple times, they are gradually improving their judgment during difficult moments without getting confused, defending when it's time to defend, and connecting when it's time to connect. Additionally, Go HATANO has been holding strong, and the defense has done well.

Overall, the movement was slow and small. In the previous match, they moved strongly without fear of risk, and when the ball was not available, they were able to return it. I think they were sluggish in that regard today. However, it was good that they were able to control the game steadily without getting flustered.
The matches will continue. We will keep challenging next time.
