《Tokyo U-23 - Summary of the Press Conference by Coach Tetsu NAGASAWA》
Despite the match being held at the same time as the J1 games, I am grateful for the support from the fans and supporters. I feel sorry for the defeat.
In the first half, we couldn't really play football and were caught off guard in one shot.
Before entering the second half, it was good to organize our attacking strategy and score two goals as planned.
At halftime, I told the players, 'If we don't take our chances, we will be punished,' and indeed we had the opportunity to score the third goal, but we couldn't connect with a simple cross or we dribbled into a crowded area, showing that we still have a lot of room for improvement in this match.
Even top teams do not start defending after taking the lead.
We still lack the skills to score the third goal, so I want to continue training diligently.
