《Tokyo U-23 - Summary of the Press Conference by Coach Tetsu NAGASAWA》
Despite the big game (Tamagawa Classico) being tomorrow, I truly appreciate that nearly 100 fans and supporters have come to cheer for us.
Regarding the game, there are still some immature aspects, but I have the impression that we pushed forward and ran well.
To be specific, we conceded two goals from set pieces and missed some easy shots, but under Coach Hasegawa, the point of 'doing what needs to be done and continuing to do it' has been well expressed, even as the members change from match to match. I think it's great that anyone who steps onto the field has been able to express that.
I thought it would end as a 2 to 3 game, but the players had their own pride and continued to play without giving up hope, which led to today's result.
Including the U-18 players, they have become much more resilient compared to the initial six consecutive losses, so I want to continue improving further.
