[Player/Coach Comments]
"Kotaro OMORI"
"It was crucial to be able to hold out without conceding any goals."
The opening goal was good because I was able to enter with my own distance with dribbling and put the ball in an easy place to hit. I thought it would go in because I was able to meet the ball in my favorite spot.
I have been working on it since practice, but it didn't go in easily, so I think I was able to get lucky as well.
(In many cases, we have been scored on first, and today we were also under pressure at the beginning. However, Daiki Ohmori scored the first goal today.)
"My goal was good, but as a team, we were able to fight together in both offense and defense."
Tokyo was sometimes pushed back by the opponent's momentum at the beginning, but it was crucial that they were able to hold them off without conceding any goals. I think the momentum shifted to Tokyo after they scored the first goal."
(Instructions from the coach)
"There wasn't anything in particular, but I tried to play by thinking about executing what I have and reading the flow of the game."
(It was a match in high humidity)
"I was able to enjoy playing soccer after a long time with a full appearance. There were also substitutions, and I was involved in the game in various ways, but what I need to do remains the same. As we are fighting as a team throughout the year, I want to continue to do what I need to do properly."
"Hirotaka MITA"
"It had only been two days since I joined, but I was taught some tactics. This was my first game with this team, so I focused on defending and was allowed to play somewhat freely in order to showcase my strengths."
(Muroya and Takahagi players were talking about various things during the game)
"Takahagi player's voice was very helpful in terms of positioning for targeting loose balls and marking."
I was conscious of receiving the ball in the middle and creating time to connect to chances for attack. I was involved in the shooting scene, but I wanted to convert it into a goal. I want to continue creating more chances and getting involved in scoring.
(There was an atmosphere of trying to let Mita score)
"Hashimoto and Higashi have been playing together since the past, and Takahagi and Omori are also players with a sense of movement, making it very easy to play. We have two weeks from here to practice with everyone, so I want to communicate more."
(Which position do you want to play?)
"The coach decides what role to give. I think it's a good player who can play the role given to him firmly, so I want to fulfill my role wherever I am used."
(How was it to actually play?)
"The timing of Muraya's overlap was very good, making it easy to pass the ball. When I had the ball, everyone started moving, so I had a comfortable feeling that I had never experienced before. In Kobe, there were many players who could create a game like Iniesta, but there were few players who could start moving, so it was easy for me."
(The long-awaited chant was)
"I was really happy and nostalgic. I knew that they were singing it many times, so I want to do my best to score a goal and be able to do the 'Sha' next time."
(I thought I had a chance to shoot)
"The DF came in faster than I expected, so I aimed for the gap. It was just as I imagined, but unfortunately it missed."
It was a great joy to be able to come back to Tokyo and play a game, and my sense of responsibility has increased even more. We cannot afford to lose at home in the next Cerezo game. In order to accumulate points, I want to continue to focus on winning."
"Tokyo - Manager Masaru HASEGAWA Press Conference Summary"
"It was a game after losing, so I think the team was a little nervous at the start, but we had told the players that Shimizu would come out aggressively at home. I think the fact that we were able to concentrate and play well in the early stages led to Ohmori's goal."
Omoris's opening goal was crucial. In recent games, we have often been behind, but this time we were able to take the lead and even score a second goal. I also believe that the players worked extremely hard until the end, which allowed us to end the game with a clean sheet.
I have a little time until the next game, so I want to prepare well for the next match.
(About Mita and Jael)
"I think both of them did well. Jael also returned from injury and there were some unknowns, but even with limited playing time for the team, he put his body on the line and became a starting point while creating time well."
Regarding Mita, there was a part where we had to go straight into the game, but they smoothly got into the game."
"Shimizu - Coach Yoshiyuki SHINODA Press Conference Summary"
"I think we had a good start to the game, but the result of 0-2 is everything."
We changed our system and replaced some players, and we challenged ourselves in various ways and had some scoring opportunities. However, our current strength is that we couldn't finish them. Even in the part where we conceded two goals, it was a disappointing game because we continued to concede goals. Overall, I think it was a good game, but how we all take this result is important. We will look at our feet firmly and continue to do our best."
(Please tell us about the measures taken and the evaluation regarding the match against Tokyo, the top team)
"Our main focus was to prevent the two forwards from making quick attacks and instead, we aimed to move the ball and attack the opponent's back. We were able to see some of those scenes, but we were not able to respond well to the unexpected movements of MF Higashi and MF Omori who came into the center."
"I felt that we need to learn from their quality in front of goal and their defense, where they put their bodies on the line to protect the goal. They are a team that is leading the league, so we need to learn from them." (After conceding the first goal after a good start, what caused the team to lose rhythm?) "One reason is that Tokyo's goal made their movements smoother, and we felt a bit hesitant as a result. Then we conceded a second goal and felt the possibility of conceding a third, so we thought about changing our shape midway through the game."
