[Player and Coach Comments]

《Kotaro OMORI》
"It was significant that we were able to keep a clean sheet as a result.
The opening goal was good because I was able to dribble in my own rhythm and place the ball in a position that was easy to shoot. Since I was able to make contact with the ball in my favorite spot, I thought this one would go in.
I had been working on it since practice, but it wasn't going in for a while, so I think I was able to have luck on my side.

(In a situation where we often concede the first goal, we were also pressured at the start today. However, today, player Omori scored the opening goal)
"My opening goal was good, but as a team, we were able to fight together in both offense and defense.
At the start, there were times when we were pushed back by the opponent's momentum, but being able to hold them scoreless there was significant. I believe that scoring the first goal shifted the momentum to Tokyo.

(Instructions from the coach)
"There wasn't anything in particular, but it was about bringing out what I have, and playing with the thought of being able to execute that while reading the flow of the game."

(It was a match with high humidity)
"Even in that situation, it was fun to play soccer as I was able to participate fully for the first time in a while. I also came on as a substitute and have been involved in various ways during the match, but what I need to do remains unchanged. We are fighting as a team throughout the year, so I want to continue to do what I need to do properly from now on."

《Hirotaka MITA》
"It had only been two days since I joined, but I was taught some tactics. Today was my first match with this team, so I focused on defending where needed and was allowed to play somewhat freely to showcase my strengths."

(I was talking about various things with players Muroya and Takahagi during the match)
"Takahagi gave me advice on positioning for loose balls and marking, which made it very easy to play.
Regarding the attack, I was conscious of receiving the ball in between to create time and connect it to chances. I was involved in the shooting scenes, but I wanted to convert that into goals. I want to create more chances and be involved in scoring.

(There was an atmosphere of wanting to let Mita score)
"Hashimoto and Higashi are players I've played with for a long time, and Takahagi and Omori are also players with a good sense of the game, so the ball moved a lot and it was very easy to play. In the next two weeks, I want to practice well with everyone and improve our communication."

(Which position do you want to play in)
"It is up to the coach to decide what role I will be given. I believe that being a good player means being able to perform well in the role assigned to me, so I want to fulfill my role properly no matter where I am utilized."

(How was it actually playing?)
"Muroya's timing for overlapping was very good, making it easy to pass the ball. Once I had the ball, everyone started moving, which gave me a sense of ease that I hadn't experienced before. In Kobe, there were many players who could create a game like Iniesta, but there were fewer players who would start moving, so it was easier for me."

(It was a long-awaited chant)
"I was really happy and nostalgic. I knew that we had sung it many times, so next time I want to work hard to score and be able to do the 'Sha'"

(I thought the shooting chance was secured)
"The DF closed in faster than I expected, so I aimed for the gap and shot. It was as I imagined, but it missed, so I was disappointed.
It was a great joy to be back in Tokyo and play a match again, and my sense of responsibility has increased. Since the next match is against Cerezo, we cannot afford to lose at home. In order to accumulate points, I want to continue to focus on winning from now on.

《Tokyo - Summary of the Press Conference with Director Kenta HASEGAWA》
"Since it was a match after a loss, I think the team was a bit nervous at the start, but I communicated to the players that Shimizu would come out aggressively at home. I believe that being able to concentrate and play well during the initial phase led to Omori's goal."
Omor's opening goal was indeed significant. In recent games, we often found ourselves conceding the first goal, but this time we scored first and managed to get a second goal as well. I believe finishing with a clean sheet was also due to the players working very hard until the end.
Since there is a little time until the next match, I would like to prepare thoroughly for the next game.

(About Mita and Jael)
"I think both of them did well. Jael also returned from injury, and there were some unknowns, but even with limited playing time, he put his body on the line and created opportunities effectively for the team."
Regarding Mita, there were some aspects that were unprepared, but he smoothly entered the match.

《Shimizu・Yoshiyuki SHINODA Coach Press Conference Summary》
I think we had a good start to the match, but the result of 0-2 says it all.
We changed the system and the players, and we made various challenges, creating several scoring opportunities. However, not being able to convert those chances reflects our current strength. It was disappointing to concede two goals, as we continue to struggle with defensive lapses. Overall, I think it was a good game, but how we all perceive this result is important. I want to keep our feet on the ground and continue moving forward.

(Please tell us about the strategies you implemented before the match against the top-ranked Tokyo and your evaluation of them)
"The biggest threat was the two forwards' quick attacks, so we aimed to prevent that and move the ball ourselves while trying to get behind the opponent. We showed some scenes like that, but to our surprise, midfielders Higashi and Omori came into the center, and we couldn't respond effectively.
"We need to learn from their quality in front of the goal and their defense, which puts their bodies on the line to protect the goal. They are definitely a team that deserves to be at the top." (After taking the lead with a good start, we lost our rhythm significantly after conceding a goal. What was the cause?) "One reason is that after Tokyo scored, their movements became smoother, and we felt like we were a bit on the back foot. Because of that, we conceded the second goal and felt the possibility of conceding a third, so we thought about changing our formation midway through the match."
