《Tokyo U-23 Coach Tetsu NAGASAWA's Press Conference Summary》

"I am grateful that the fans and supporters gathered at Nishigaoka despite the J1 match. We created gaps ourselves and conceded goals, leading to a difficult situation. If it were the early part of the season, the opponent would have run away with the game, but the players have gained experience and have become stronger, allowing us to catch up."

In the final stages, we pressed the opponent and created many chances, but while we attacked with strong determination, we lacked composure and were unable to score additional goals. If we can become calm enough to score in the final moments, I believe we can compete even in J1 matches.

Half of the season is over, and this season we have accumulated the most points in J3 since joining in 2016. The players who participated today are also competing in the Emperor's Cup and Levain Cup. I feel once again the significance of fighting in U-23, as we can improve various challenges on the official stage of J3, not just in practice matches.
