《Tokyo U-23 - Summary of the Press Conference by Coach Tetsu NAGASAWA》
I am very sorry that despite your support in coming to cheer us on even though the event was in doubt due to the typhoon, we ended up with a complete shutout and a total defeat.
In today's match, we were overwhelmed by the opponent's intense strength and lost control of the game. We needed to ensure we didn't lose in ball contests, but we were consistently at a disadvantage. Kodama kept preventing crises, and since we could use Tagawa as a substitute, it would have been good if we could have held on until then. However, I think it was a bit immature to easily lose our marking during the corner kick. It's not that we weren't trying; I believe we were running hard and desperately. However, not being able to perform at the most crucial moments shows that we still lack strength. I thought we had organized the situation as we entered the second half, but we ended up being reactive.
In any case, the opponent completely won today's match. We have also been playing great games recently, but I want to cool my head one more time and change my mindset to move forward.
