《FC Tokyo U-23 Coach Tetsu NAGASAWA Press Conference Summary》
I would like to thank everyone who supported us following yesterday's J1 match. I believe we were able to hold on during the final push because it was at our home, Nishigaoka, and I think we earned that one point thanks to our fans and supporters.
In the match, we took the lead with two goals as we intended, and we wanted to push forward aiming for three or four more goals. However, mistakes like the trap error that led to conceding a goal are mistakes that should not happen in a J1 match. I feel like we tightened the noose around our own necks. We were certainly not careless, but in terms of situational judgment, considering everything including the heat, the condition of the pitch, and my own stamina, our immaturity became evident.
In the second half of the game, we started to be pressured, but today we had no choice but to use a player who is originally a center-back as a side-back, which made it a bit difficult for us to attack in the end. However, I believe I fought until the end with the plays I could make, so I want to acknowledge that. It became an open game and we were almost overtaken, but I think Go HATANO kept a good eye on the ball and played well until the end.
However, since the goals are set high, for example, in yesterday's J1 match, it became clear what roles and contributions were made by the players. I want to ensure that we can perform well in such situations.
Finally, Ryota Inoue from Tottori is a player who graduated from the Tokyo Academy. I really thought he was working hard, and I want to convey that he is also a member of our family.
