"FC Tokyo U-23 Tetsu NAGASAWA Manager Press Conference Summary"
"I am grateful to everyone who supported us yesterday in J1. I think we were able to hold on until the end because we were at home in Nishigaoka, and I think we were able to earn 1 point thanks to the fans and supporters."
The game was going as planned, leading by two points and then aiming for 3 or 4 goals, but the mistake of trapping in the scene of conceding a goal is something that should not happen in a J1 game, and I think we ended up tightening our own necks. We were not careless, but considering the situation including the heat, the condition of the turf, and our own physical strength, our immaturity was highlighted.
In the second half of the game, we were caught up, but today we were in a situation where we had to use a CB player as an SB, so we struggled a bit in the end. However, I think I was able to fight until the end with the plays I could make, so I want to give myself credit for that. It was an open game and we were in danger of being overtaken, but I think Hatano was able to play by carefully reading the ball until the end.
However, since our goal is set high, for example, in yesterday's J1 match, the game highlighted the challenges of how many people can be involved and what kind of work can be done. I want to be able to play well in this kind of situation.
Finally, Tottori's player Ryota Inoue is a graduate of Tokyo's academy. I thought he was really working hard, and I want to convey that he is also a member of our family."
